Great numbers from Notts County yesterday, but ever so quiet. 90% were sat down all game.

Yeah it's all part of the away atmosphere is standing up, I honestly can't ever remember sitting down at an away game following GTFC.
Yesterday we even had the steps full of people standing for the whole game and loads stood at the front as well, stewards tried getting the ones at the front to go to their seats but they just gave up after a few minutes of being ignored.

I get the impression this Mr Laybier chap know his stuff and I'm wondering if he could help me out with something. See, one of my mates is adamant that Notts Co's home ground was known as the County Ground back in them olden days. I told him that's bollox but I'm having second thoughts now :pond:

By the looks of the highlights there didn't look many about 150 all sitting down.the terracing behind the goal wasn't opened up for them. I'm glad vales next 2 away games in the league are at chesterfield and Coventry as it did my head in sitting on a coach for over 10 hours yesterday.

You wont be laughing once The GSE manage a FULL TAKE of the Bishop Street Stand next week.
Oh I probably will as a) I support Crewe and b) the Bishop Street stand has been boarded up and out of use for several seasons,if I'm not mistaken.

Always been Meadow Lane to my knowledge unless it's one of those like The Boleyn Ground, for example, that was more commonly known as Upton Park.

Even more important question for you is at Exeter yesterday, did you take the home end?

With the numbers they had there, if correctly deployed/utilised then I would imagine at least a partial, if not full take would have been very achievable.

Mansfield, Lincoln, Notts and Grimsby were all good efforts IMO.

Can we set up a play pen for Grimsby and Lincoln fans to chat separately.... The rest of us can get on without reading their boring conversations
Just wait until mid-September, with El Grassico looming on 30 Sept at Blundell Park we will need a whole cowshed to ourselves...

Anyone got Cheltenham at Morecambe yet?

Also, has anyone volunteered for the collation/posting averages job yet?

Morecambe can be pretty awful at publishing numbers, most estimates I've seen put the figure at around 150.
