I honestly thought Barnet would muster more than that against Luton for some reason.

"The ticket office would like to advise that we have now sold out of the allocation of Barnet tickets that we had for sale from Kenilworth Road.
Currently, around 2,000 Hatters supporters will be heading to The Hive tomorrow.
The extra 400 tickets are now available from Barnet."

That would suggest there were 2000 minimum and probably more judging by how many were sitting in the main stand of which we received a section.

Didn't look like many Barnet fans in attendence. The home terrace was sparcly populated and the small side stand had very few fans in it. The part of the main stand that hosted the Barnet fans still had a fair number of empty seats. Barnet have never had a big supporter base. I'm sure they are looking to build it up now they are investing in the Hive but it won't happen overnight.

Fair enough-it's just my inkling that away fans often over estimate/big up their followings but you may well be right ofcourse.

To confirm:

Exeters away end will be open next season, covered terrace for 1000 people (Barnets old stand).

The old grandstand will be ready about half way through next season which will probably have 250 odd additional seats for away fans.

Depends who you ask. I believe we are 100-200 down after the move, others think it's unchanged. I suspect the key difference to playing Luton compared to previous seasons is that Luton didn't sell out the space for away supporters so the home numbers didn't get a boost from away fans seeking in the Home end. I usually give this game a miss because of it.
