I don't have time for nazis, fascists, racists, so called 'nationalists' and so on, but I'm always open to giving anybody whomever he/she is a fair warning that such crap will not be tolerated so he or she should think twice before posting. TBF, I don't think he has overstepped the mark since he returned.

Now it could well be I'm only saying this because I'm unaware of how many times this Mr Laybier/Football Purist chap has been warned about his conduct in the past, and he could've been warned on multiple occasions already for all I know. I'm also unsure of the rules when one is banned, ie are people banned for life or only for a number of weeks or months?

mowgli - what happens exactly when one gets banned? Thanks.

ps - I'm not defending the chap in question, I'm only unclear on what the rules are in the case of banned posters.

When you get a permenant ban for racist posts there's no coming back mate and rightly so,banned twice from 1FF and twice from here should tell you all you need to know about the twat who's views are not welcome on 1FF,how many chances are we supposed to give him? 1FF will ban him yet again as when he gets banned from one site he tries again on the other but i use both and will continue to get him banned.

I see Mowgli, thanks for your reply. Banned on multiple times then, so not just the one time. Fair enough.

You seem a fairly reasonable sort,Vanni so let me set the record straight.
I've been previously banned because my style is not to everyone's taste...I ask uncomfortable questions and don't post simply to get matey and a load of likes-I'm not into that cliquey thing.
And I come at things from a different perspective which again is not to everyone's taste.
There's been no blatant racism from me but in this day and age unless you're seen to be uber left wing and covered in Gay Pride badges you're considered a raving neo nazi.

I love Vanni for saying that. There have been some great posters that have been banned indefinitely that don't deserve it. However if you're a proven racist and a homophobe (not saying FP is, I only ever really remember his TAKING THE AWAY END stuff) then you don't deserve to come back.

Or better still, just PM each other and leave the rest of us out of it.

Notts County, Chesterfield, Mansfield and Grimsby are all around an hour from Lincoln.

Not a local derby.

Course it is, games between Lincoln, Mansfield, Grimsby, Notts Co and Chesterfield are considered derbies - even if say, Grimsby is a good 80 miles away from us, as opposed to the 15 odd miles to Chesterfield and Notts Co

Though the intensity of the derby varies between each of the clubs.

Lincoln has never been a local derby, never will be unless we up sticks and start playing in Newark.

The point is that most of the East Midlands teams are relatively local to each other, even if they aren't derbies.

Exactly, both Crewe (just about) and Port Vale (by 25 miles) are closer than Grimsby, but I wouldn't consider them rivals (they aren't) and there isn't any bother between the sets of fans for instance

I don't think Gy v Mansfield is really a local derby, it's relatively close, hence the reverse fixture is well attended from Gy because most away trips are long hauls with shite train links. The key variable is home turnout, this isn't above average for Mansfield, so not a derby. Even Donny doesn't attract that much of a bigger home turnout - maybe plus 10% last season. The local derbies for Gy, as opposed to just localish games, are Lincoln (the original derby from the formation of the second division), Scunny (the closest, but a johnny come lately derby because they were non-league until 1950) and Hull (although before the bridge it was 80 miles) because of the historic intense rivalry in the fishing industry.

Yeah, like ours would be Chesterfield and Rotherham. County is only recently one due to them becoming more shit

What I mean is, they're the closest we've got in this division.

Did Stevenage give us an initial allocation of 1000 last season, or have they slashed it this season? We took about 1400 in the end, didn't we?

The away stand holds 1400 so I can't see how they could slash your allocation.

Didn't explain it very well, we've only been given 1000 tickets for Saturday's game. I'm just wondering if this happened last season and they gave us an extra 400, or what.

Last season was full allocation I believe, but there was problems last season in that they wanted everyone to sit down, but they couldn't and the aisles and front was full so everyone stood. Guess they have reduced it to try and make everyone sit.
