Well I know 5 Grimsby Town fans (including me) who have decided we've had enough and will not be going to anymore games this season. Harrogate did for us!
Oh don't be like that - surely a trip to Crewe is tempting enough to change your mind.

I am actually going to Tamworth tomorrow, drinking trip. Would normally be drinking in the Borough Arms before the game, but I will be drinking all afternoon (and visiting The Spud Man). Don't think many will travel to be honest. 300 Max, most have had enough like me.

We’ve already sold nearly 500. Fans will generally stick with the team while there is a threat of relegation.

Next season will be the big hit if we don’t improve significantly (or, ‘shudders’, end up in the NL). Big task for 1878 and DA to restore some confidence in the fans after this shambles.

Didn't realize we'd shifted almost 500, and yes, people do rally round when there is a threat of relegation but there are also plenty like me who can't watch us at the moment. It's too painful.

Our only attacking plan was 'a big throw' at Harrogate and it produced not one second of panic to their defence all evening, yet we didn't/couldn't change or alter a thing. I can't watch that again.

Yes I was there, absolute shocker of a second half. Tharme’s throw could be so much more of a threat - he can do flat and fast and long and looping. We just don’t have the players to exploit it. Danny Rose is decent in the air for his height but the only one capable of winning the first header is Tharme! As per the disallowed goal.

Surely Tharme can practice throwing it and then running quick to get in the box and flick it on himself?

You’ve got something there, we just need to get Danny Rose to win the ball, hold it up and then lay it off to himself running through. Feck we’d up there with Stockport if we’d perfected this earlier…

Not sure but can anyone confirm if BlackHaddock has quit watching his team because he’s had enough?

It was utterly soul sapping. I don't give a fuck about Hurst vs Artell ball in the context of that match as it was ultimately irrelevant due to the fact that it was so obvious that that lineup of players lack even the slightest modicum of creativity. Artell has given up on the squad doing anything other than limping over the line and we will once again back them in our droves much better than they deserve and celebrate when they achieve safety at home to Swindon or at Crawley due to Sutton/FGR/Colchester running out of time. There should be no celebration regarding the curtain call of such a shitshow of a season though. The players should be the ones celebrating the fans and not vice versa.

If it's not a sell out for home fans it won't be far off and that's probably why you only got 1,680 tickets.
Speaking of, is there anywhere in Crewe where we'll be able to drink pre-match or is it a waste of time with the early KO? Trains in aren't the best timed.

Not sure if there'll be any pubs open near the ground so if you're coming by train there might not be any options unless you hail a cab and head out a couple of miles to Haslington for example.

Another decent turn out (for us), can't exactly say we're glory hunting these days.
Bloody great support considering we are watching the worst bunch of players ever for our club! We have a decent support, but let down constantly.

Yes we are a small club, but don’t get the credit we deserve fur our loyal away support in my opinion.

275 was the figure given on the TRFC site. May be a typo. Where does your 274 come from, the Newport site?
