Northampton are clearly traditional rivals with Southampton, surely?

Ah well, didn’t quite manage to get a Salford ticket. After priority holders snapped theirs up, it left less than 500 tickets - of which were sold in the first hour this morning.

NO excuses. True supporters would’ve made more effort.

Should be thoroughly ashamed. Bloody fairweather fans.

Just under 1000 sold for Salford tonight I believe with the possibility of a few stragglers paying on the day. Be nice to hit 4 figures again.

Promotion would be meaningless while King Kassam still has his hands on the ground. Sucks for them.

See your annual bottling is well under way.

Not sure Swindon can throw bottling at Oxford, I remember Austin at Wembley. You've bottled 7 derbies in a row, looking forward to you bottling the next two. Swindon's bottle goes as soon as they arrive in Blackbird Leys :surr:

Why do you lot find it so difficult counting.

It’s NOT 7 in a row is it. The last game was 1-1 which we won on pens.

Normal service will soon be resumed!

I'm not counting that abomination of a trophy. I don't even know what it's called these days. Since U23 teams entered I just ignore it. Didn't go to the final v Coventry, and have no idea why anyone did.

Fair enough. Then you have discount 2, maybe 3, of those other games which were in the same competition.

You can’t have it both ways.

All history now. Maybe I’ll dig out the years when you lot failed to beat us. When you did the double in the di Canio days we still pissed the league.

I’d settle for that every time

That was brilliant.

It blighted that season for you, and don't pretend it didn't :woo:

Your players shite themselves against us.

Now I do find it strange that a few of you think that. Honestly, at the end of the season it meant jack shit to us.

Obviously, I would have loved a win but blighted - no way.

Did Thompson get sent off against you last Saturday?

I wasn't there but he did. Apparently he should have been sent-off before he got sent-off, if that makes sense. Then it all kicked off with our bench, and (strangely) our kit man got booked.

I strangely admire the hatred he has for Oxford. It kicked off last year when he played against us for Pompey. He's certainly one of your own, might be heading back your way when Posh go up and you're back in L1

Hullo there, enjoyed your replay with the Mags the other week! Nice to see that it’s still club policy to lose massive home games 3-2.

Been a while since you lot played a Premier League team hasn't it.

We've beaten West Ham, Swansea (when in PL) Newcastle (before FA cup), played City a few times.

How many big games against PL clubs have you lot had recently :P1: Most Oxford at least respect Swindon as a proper club, you lot are so deep in West Ham's shadow it's frankly embarrassing for everyone involved.

Yeah, he’s a good lad is Nathan. Booted a bottle into your dug-out apparently. He’s not really a Wellens kind of player, though.

Is that little Thai fella screwing you over now with flogging players.

I was unhappy about the player sales, but then he has come good with some good signings. Jury is still out for me. Think feelings are mixed generally.

I suppose the shadow of his ownership of Reading is always a worry.

What with him and Uncle Firoz still pulling the strings it must hamstring you.

We’re buying the CG in a couple of weeks. Hope some sort of upgrade is soon

Isn't there a saying amongst Swindon folk about "avoiding the 4 Ps", guessing Penhill is one of them...
Park North, Park South, Penhill and Pinehurst I think! Might be wrong as I live in luxurious North Swindon. Most of the town needs knocking down and starting again honestly. Especially the centre.

I don't think Tiger is anywhere close to Firoz tbh. Let's see if he comes good with these promises of a new ground... I'll believe it when I see it

I've only been to Swindon to see football so no idea what the rest of Swindon is like. Oxford fans will all tell you its a shithole, but then they would to be fair...

Oxford's alright, but there's certainly some rougher parts

Nothing to do with 7 wins in a row, bottling it or playing a Premier team but the club is now saying we have sold a thousand tickets which is a) on thread and b) really good to see.
