sounds like a point stolen

Guy streamed it.

Morecambe parked the bus and we didn’t look like getting back in it really. Kay then scores a strange goal assuming we knew they’d step up and they were too late so he just stood there and tapped in!

Then Popey with a typical header. Worried that Aspin didn’t try and change it more than he did.

Penalty was a decent stop and thought we might win it then! Hannant though wasted a great chance to put it in the box and blasted over.

Great character I guess and although disappointed if you’d offered me a point at the start il certainly take it there.

Morecambe must be gutted they literally lost the lead then blew it right at the death with AJLS penalty.

It was typically one of those games against a team that makes it scrappy that we always struggle in and looked to be going the way similar to Grimsby away for instance but somehow we’ve got back.

Million miles from the last two performances though.

This team is a complete shambles when they have play from behind. Which surprise surprise for a bottom half League Two, they have to do a fair bit. You'd have thought they'd have gotten used to it by now.

Our attack ranges from lethal to toothless and if you are inconsistent at this level, then you aint moving any higher up the pyramid. The team looks like it desperately needs some extra firepower. Shame we've got a lot of under performing players tied down long term though. One game closer to the end of the season.
A slightly modded version of my post from 2 weeks ago when we lost to Crawley. Rinse repeat today. Go behind, fall to shit. 2nd half, seemingly peter out and create naff all. Seen this movie far too many times now, getting properly bored of it.

Feel sick for Yeovil fans, it hurts when you loose in the manner.

we needed that, two very late goals, one in off the post by Ruben Reid the winner a deflected shot by George Williams.

Onto Mansfield at home, they've only lost once, so another tough game in prospect.

Seems the wind ruined our game with not too much happening.

Took until the 50th minute for Stevenage to have a shot and not ideal losing Toffolo and Andrade to injury, although both sound impact injuries rather than muscular.

Back to back clean sheets is also welcomed.

Scrappy and in horrible weather but our injury hit team was still good value for the win, hopefully putting an end to that little blip.

Don’t know how/why fans like Cambridge travel such distances and are then silent even when the game is evenly balanced as it was first half.
Really? Thought Cambridge were the better side in the first half and although we picked up second half there wasn’t much to choose between the sides. Though the best sides win when playing badly.

We were the better side in the second half and deserved the points. Cambridge had more of the ball and a couple of chances in the first half, but offered nothing at all after half time.

I thought they were probably the poorest team we have played in all honesty.

Their keeper made two very good saves in either half. We weren’t as good as a few weeks back but we were still good value. Cambridge didn’t do much second half and we just raised it for a 15 minute spell.

Poor game between two poor looking sides in terrible conditions. Not much of a watch, will grateful accept the stuffy 1-0 and move on with life.

Two awful teams played out a drab first half in Crawley then the ref got bored and decided to take a hand.

Penalty was down the other end but looked harsh...I've seen them given type. The sending off was barely a foul but the Northampton 16 went down like Tyson in the 12th. I did think Palmer was going to swing for the lino and so did the lino but, luckily Palmer calmed himself down a bit. Then Bulman was through on goal and the big centre half decided to take one for the team and pushed him over outside the box. The ref waved play on. I don't think the Northampton players could believe it.

I could go on and blame all our woes on the ref here but to be honest both sides were very poor today, we were just slightly worse. I presume Northampton play better than that usually; I know we do.

If I was the manager of either side they would be doing extra training tomorrow.

It was a tale of two halves for us with Macclesfield today, we started like a steam train in the first half - the opening ten minutes were probably the most dominant I've seen all season. Played well all first half and ought to have been two or three up by the break. They were poor and we looked a clear level above them, it was very one-sided.

In the second half though we were awful and fair play to Macclesfield who then came into the game much more. It was a complete reverse from the first - we couldn't get the ball down or keep hold of it, the performance became littered with mistakes everywhere and we were very lucky not to concede an equaliser.

A win is a win, but at half-time I was hoping we would give the goal difference a good boost today and by the end I was just thankful for the final whistle.

Sounds very similar to our game against Macc. But we didn't take our chances in the first half and they grew in confidence. Sometimes there is only a wafer thin between 1-0 and 0-1

Absolutely ridiculous. How can we lose from that position. The odds on a FGR win at the 93rd minute stage must have been enormous. Way again snatches defeat from the jaws of victory.

We have battered Cheltenham all half after we switched to a flat 5 midfield. Their best player on the right hadn't had a sniff as a result thanks to Pringle covering him. Jolley changed it late and brought Pringle off and the man instantly finds himself in acres of space and gets them a penalty. Sickening as we deserved a point at the very least but can't help but feel like Jolley has made a big error there.

Good game despite all that. Don't think either team will struggle too much. Officials were truly atrocious.

I can't argue with a word you said, a point was probably fair. The pen was probably the only thing the ref got right all day.

That being said, I'll bloody take the win.

The same way we beat Macclesfield with 2 pens in the 93rd and 96th minute.

Piece of piss really!

Joss Labadie, a Newport player is having a moan on twitter as Newport players had to pay £10 to park their cars in the club car park. Utter tit. Why should they not have to pay like other normal people?

Very clever from Sol today. He saw Notts had lost by 2 goals so made sure we closed the goal difference gap to them. Phase two is obviously a win for us and defeat for them next week to see us off the bottom, and then we climb from there.

Greatest mind in football.

Many sides will struggle to get much from Colchester, though it would have been useful on both fronts for us had you done so

You’ve Crawley next Saturday who’re dreadful away. Time to deliver for sol

Our win against Stevenage felt like the sort of victory promotion sides are able to churn out. Ugly, nothing in it but ultimately do what is required to get the three points. We've got Stevenage fans moaning about us on Twitter anyway, which shows we're doing something right.

You never bring 4500 fans so have plenty of room surely to sit either side or below it?

They didn't it was blazing light with Port Vale 4 Stoke City 0 which looked quite good regardless of it being a watered down El Ceramico!

Unfortunately not, the stewards had penned us in immediately behind the goal with only just enough seats for our attendance!
We couldn't understand it especially when there were so many empty seats either side of us?

What a fucking ending that was. Yeovil gave a brilliant lesson in how not to see out a game v 10 men shocking tactics got what they deserved.

Michael Salisbury gave one of the worst reffing displays I've seen in ages, only good thing he did was add on a fair amount of injury time after all of Yeovil's time wasting. And that Almeida is an annoying little twat, kind of player his own fans probably like but everyone else hates. Some of his antics were pathetic.

Can agree with much of that.
I was in the gazebo, the penalty was a definite foul (push), AR gave it, although have seen many not given. Couldn't see the sending off, down your end, but the incident at the end when your player was through was a bit of a surprise when it wasn't given, which would have been a red? Although being outside the box may not have affected the result.
Shitty weather, shitty game. Very happy with the 3pts though. 499 Cobbs out of 2389.

Really ? Must of been a different game to me pal , the most deserved point of the season.

Exeter at home wasn’t a point stolen certainly. Great effort second half there.

The four points from yesterday and Crawley have levelled out the 1 point we got from Notts County and Newport both of whom we panned for much of the game so i guess they even themselves out over a season!
