Yeovil completely hemmed in their own half by the wind.

You can tell just how bad the weather made things at games today as there were only 17 goals scored in 12 League 2 games, surely must be the lowest of the season without checking?

So I actually think those of us that were away today were the lucky ones as the conditions would mean that the home team which you would be expecting to be attacking more, would find it more difficult to break through whereas us away teams would be the happier with the conditions evening things out a little.
For us a 0-0 at Morecambe in those conditions I am happy with but had that been at home, it would have been a bad result.

The exception to that probably being Crawley v Luton where you would expect that had conditions been better, Luton in current form would have had too much for them.

You say that yet in League One there was a fair few scored, 4-4 and a 3-3.

I imagine teams like us with an aerial target man prospered today more than ones without one.

Weather at Stevenage wasn't too bad, bit of wind and rain but nothing epic, so can't complain really.

Not that I need to. :bdick:

I suppose a draw away isn't bad given how we've been playing but the clear penalty in injury time that wasn't given is very frustrating. I hope they get the Barnet fan who made death threats to Rhys Browne and Omar Sowumni and throw the book at him. Twat.

Can someone sneakily lend us a player or two? We're a bit shit at the moment.

As in, really shit. We're getting relegated if this continues. We've been SO unfortunate but equally we just don't have the quality in depth to even stem the tide at the moment.

Good job it's nearly two weeks until the next league game.

I told you all Clint Hill would be the best defender in this league and I was right!!

Shaun Brisley has been pretty consistent. We've a tight defence and he's a big part of it.
Wouldn't swap him for Clint Hill anyway.

Just over 20 years ago we played FGR in the old Southern League. The crowd was 2163.
I wonder if we'll beat that tomorrow? It's about time we started playing better at home or Kewell will be gone I think.

Could go top today with a win at Cambridge, and other results going our way. Coleman could make a couple of changes today, the team in the cup game during the week had about 7 changes, but was superb. Predicting a 1 0 victory

Away at Morecambe with 3 defenders back from injury so no midfielders in defence today,we have a good record there so hopefully we'll keep it going and Morecambe can't play Max Muller as he's on loan from us until January.

Our recent "luck" against you must run out sometime - the penalty saves and Uche/Mingoia connection at the Abbey last time, the Jimmy Spencer goal at the Wham 2 seasons ago (we were never going to score, let alone win when we played you there last season). I agree, the return to normal results would suggest a 1-0 away win.

I'm hoping for and predicting a draw. I'd forgive Derry for starting Deegan and O'Neil as DMs with one up front but suspect he'll go with his standard home diamond midfield with both Uche and Jabo up front - which would also get my blessing. Last match for 5 weeks and I'm expecting it to be a battle with enough good football for me to be entertained.

It's cold, wet and we don't attack. This could be a low and very bored crowd...unless our old friends from The Lawn are entertaining.
We did have Verheyd back from injury last week so we could attack at an even slower pace this game. I'm thinking a camp bed and sleeping bag could come in handy.

1-0 Luton from Dan Potts, who have started very brightly, especially through Cornick.

Hit the post and bar, well on top apparently, but how many chances will we spurn before until we get punished!

Crawley keeper handles outside the box, free kick given keeper only gets a yellow!

Frustrating.

Well it’s 1-1 at Cheltenham. I’m not sure how we’re not at least 2 goals to the good as we’ve been totally the more dominant team.

Cheltenham seem to be having suspect defensive issues, whereas they’ve also been pretty ordinary going forward too. But their goal came from some very sloppy defending from ourselves, as a result of a long throw in not properly cleared. That seems to be their only weapon.
