Forgetting the ignominious FA Cup exit at home to Oxford City last weekend, we finally seem to have built up some form and momentum in the league. DWWLWDWW now, including three away wins when we'd only won once away in about 10 months before this. Four clean sheets too having not kept one before 30th September and we're up to within two points off the play-offs.

Double-header at home now starting with a very winnable game against Morecambe next weekend, which would hopefully set up a big game at home to Lincoln. This is definitely more like it.

Wow Cheltenham equalise in the 97th minute. To be honest, based on the second half Luton didn’t really do anything to take 3 points but based on the first half that is two points dropped.

Waiting for dear Shaun to tell us U's fans that was a good point today :ffs: Here allow me to save you the bother Shaun, that was 2 points dropped. I don't really care if Accy were in good form or not prior to today, what matters is they were very average this afternoon and if I were one to rate sides on seeing them once or twice at year, then I'd say I don't know why they're up there.

And as I'm typing this, some chap messages Radio Camb to say Accy were the best side he's since at The Abbey this season :ffs:

edit - that's three nil nils in the last five league games, seems like we're going head to head with Grimsby and Lincoln on who's the most boring side, although I see the Imps got 4 today and Grimsby let in two goals.

I was also reminded today why the 'draw your away games and win the home ones' argument is a silly one usually uttered by people who haven't got a clue on lower league footy. You are never going to win all your home games, or at least 75% of them in this league so that argument makes no sense at all afaic.

I'm glad we get on over so many other things coz we are so on a different planet in our expectations of a Div 4 football match.

That was a good point today.

Until we have someone who can score from better than 1 in 10 chances, that was a good performance and Shaun did OK against an excellent Div 4 manager. Lots of us would have preferred shit or bust in the second half but not me. I was pleased to see us create more chances but disappointed we didn't get the ball in the net, especially that on the line scramble.

If we'd played the rerserves on tuesday we might have won that but I suspect that the hierarchy influenced Derry's approach to "The Derby."

We're going down. Absolutely nailed on.

Supporting this team is so fucking depressing at times that it hurts. I'm always genuinely grateful that we aren't going into admin or other awful situation like some teams do - but this is still horrible nontheless. 3 months without a win, horrible atmosphere in the stands, tired injury-striker team absolutely bereft of confidence. Cannot see where a win is going to come from currently.

Crawley keeper handles outside the box, free kick given keeper only gets a yellow!.

You often see keepers sent off for those but outfield players rarely get a yellow. Hand down by his hip.

First half it was a case of how many will FGR win by. The second was a complete change. It begs a question of why we started with the tactics we did. All praise Harry for changing it but do we not watch the opposition to see how they play?

Shock horror! A Crawley forward scored today. That's two goals for our forwards this season.

Man of the match. The Crawley woodwork.

Started today for the first time in ages (he played about 1 1/2 months ago but was brought back too soon for that game and made the injury much worse). Was so refreshing to see him play again. He's the only positive thing about the club right now.

He was obviously pretty match-rusty and was replaced after 60 mins though. Needs a good few weeks yet.

Wouldn't surprise me if his goals keep you in the division.

I don't think it'll happen. I've not known my club to be in a slump like this in all my time supporting them. I'd say we've got a fanbase small enough for a division between fans to not be physically possible - but we've managed it. Everything's a mess.

Sounded like Rossi lost confidence and belief in getting us to play in the way we wanted and our performance was an incoherent mess. Once you reach that point I don’t think there’s any way up for a manager, just out.

I'd say we were the team of the day with our 4-0 win against Yeovil, not many teams thrash them lot do they?

Just the 8-2 thrashing at Luton for Yeovil, so no, not many sides thrash them.

I'd say team of the day were Morecambe with their 2-1 over Wycombe. Lincoln with 4 goals in the second half come second, and Chesterfield with a draw at Swindon in third.

I'd say team of the day has to be Grimsby Town for keeping up our high levels of consistency.
It's not easy to be consistent enough to score 0 every week but this team, helped by an unchanged team for 7 games in a row, has managed it.
Bravo Russell Slade, what a guy.

Did you even see our goals? They were all top quality.
