Not true Ellis Chapman got sent off for similar against Cambridge back in October, almost the same spot on the pitch.
Refs are hopeless that's the problem.
We've had 5 sendings off, only 3 for challenges.

One of the lowest yellow card counts in the division. Only Freck and Anderson's challenges were a bit OTT, the ones that Andrade and Shackell picked up were more frustrating because they were petulant.

Random fact - Swindon Town are the only club in the top 4 divisions of English football to have had 100% of all league goals scored by English players

Didn't Cowley get a red as well?

Very true, with certain clubs fans, (thinking mainly of Grimsby here) we are 13th in the fair play league, they are 21st. It's like the blind leading the blind.

Here's a rather interesting video, though I haven't got a clue how thorough the guy's research is. I suspect his findings are not that accurate tbh.

Your thoughts?

You’ve managed to avoid at least 2 red cards in the last month!

We’re also equal on yellows. I don’t Lincoln are particularly thuggy, they’re just good at the dark arts.

Sorry to piss on your bonfire, but this also applies to Tranmere.

better that you piss on my bonfire than my chips I guess!

I merely copy and pasted this, will teach me to be sucked in by fake news! Sad.

Not our fault the refs are hopeless as I've said before.
All teams use the 'dark arts' Northampton were very good at on Saturday, pity they got so carried away with it and seemed to forget they were playing 10 men for the entire second half and didn't really bother trying to win the game especially so in the last 20 minutes.
Seemed more bothered about breaking up play and stopping us than winning the game, strange.
Back handed compliment perhaps?

I was trying to think of a non-English Rovers player who’d scored this season and failed so glad you’ve put that up. Think Manny Monthe is the only non-Englishman who regularly starts for us.

That video has probably got the Crawley top earners correct although 2.5k a week might be pushing it a bit.

Looking forward to tonight's game against FGR. If we win, we are only 5 points behind them.

However, our home form is a monstrosity and the last 2 times I have watched us on Ifollow, we've been absolutely terrible and lost both games.

I am hoping that tonight will see a change of direction!

3 home games on the bounce now to determine if we're still alive or set to break up early for our holidays.

FGR, Grimsby, Colchester.

Interesting couple of weeks ahead.
Just hope we get the same ref as last year, he was quality him.

But you don't have Mitch Rose to accept the gifts of a wrongly awarded penalty this season. Muhahaha
We don’t need him for this game, we’ll just get Wes Thomas to punch one in the net like he did against Tranmere instead. ;)

Tonight feels hoooooge in the context of our season.

The County Ground has been like a free bar for the last few seasons with teams taking points away at will.

Tried to remain positive all season but even I'll concede if we lose tonight the season is over. Draw probably isn't enough either. Win and we're only 5 off our visitors and the players can hopefully look forward to playing at home again.

Big game!

Also the only football league club in England and Scotland that doesn't contain any letters that appear in the word mackerel.

Tonight's Oldham v Yeovil game features a manager who was one of the world's best midfielders of the last 20 years.

No Darren, it's not you.

Back after a long weekend in Yeovil.

We didn't really need to get out of first gear. Okay McKeown did make a couple of decent saves but Yeovil were very poor and I'd be a bit worried if I were a Yeovil fan.

Good to see Kristian Dennis get off the mark with a great chip for the 3rd, the first of many hopefully.

As an aside, Yeovil is a strange place, never been to such a weird Town in all my time and I certainly won't be rushing back in a hurry.

I can already imagine the sort of responses that this is going to get with you being from Grimsby Les.

We've all been worried for the last 4 years.

It is a weird place but it's our weird place :bg: I think it's mainly because chuff all happens there.

I haven't been there but Grimsby can't be as weird as Mexborough or Millom so I won't cast any assumptive aspersions.

Interesting that you’re 3rd highest in the foul count. You’ve also had more bookings against you than any other team in L2.

What the fuck are Stevenage doing on 9 red cards aswell
