Pretty even game with us the better second half, took a deserved lead but then 2 good crosses from the left and 2 good headers sealed it. Don’t know how the Barnet nr 5 didn’t get sent off mind. Dangerous push on Wilmott into the hoardings.

Shoulder to shoulder and obstruction at best, unfortunate that your player went into the hoardings but most barnet fans around me felt he only got a yellow due to the home crowd shouting. Thought one Newport player was lucky with his two footed challenge on Vilhete tbh.

I was there that night and we beat Burton when they were top of the league but the atmosphere was just dead.
I think we had a couple of sub 1000 crowds that season I seem to remember the Hatlepool home game was a sparse one with about 950 on.

As for now we were much improved compared to the last few weeks. Coleman played a different system tonight and it worked.

Exeter away and Swindon at home next up for us so a couple of tough ones coming our way...

We have as good a chance as any. Today was just the boost the players need plus Coulthirst and Akinde are worth at least 40 goals which makes a big difference to our chances. Today they both looked sharper, plus campbell-ryce came back from injury.

You guys were 70 odd yards away from it - was a cheap shot and the fella knew what he was doing and def red card. There was no push as Santos had his hands by his sides. I'd suggest we had a less obstructed view than the home fans behind the hoardings

Nope. Akinde is 50 league 2 goals in 90 starts for us and Coulthirst already has 7-8 despite barely playing for 4-5 games. If they both fail to reach 20 I will be surprised

Im sure when we played them in the cup in 2012 we had the open terrace where I was and fans in seating behind the goal?

Don't see the fuss personally. Yeah it was hammering down but FGR say they have plans for next year so it's only a matter of months. Exeter have been getting away with this for years prior to this season and I'm sure there wasn't this much moaning.
