Lincoln were the worst team I've seen play up here this season, absolutely awful. They will sure be back down here next season going by that performance.

We could of had more goals for our win today.

I didn't think we did too badly when we went down to 10 to be honest. Worked hard, and yes lots of poor passes, but we manage to kee ourselves in the game. Before the sending off we were comfortable but you used the extra man advantage very well. We looked very tired at the end, as you would expect, but it doesn't bode well for Monday.

I thought you played some decent stuff to be fair. Made some decent moves, battled very well in midfield and won most of the second balls. However, in front of goal you were dreadful and that's being kind. Surprised at how little support the crowd offered and it seemed like more than 4.5k home fans in there!

Thank god we're already promoted as otherwise we'd be doing it the hard way! Being the ultimate pessimist it could easily go down to the final game! Shackell suspended and a couple of players carrying injuries.

I think when you’ve already won promotion and almost certainly the title you’re entitled to have an off day.

I’m sure If Carlisle don’t go up they’ll be able to take comfort on beating Lincoln mansfield and bury at home

We can still mess it up. Hopefully we can promote ourselves before we get to MK because I wouldn't want to go there needing a result.

If we play how we did today, we’ll go up, if we play how we did last week.... hmm.

Today’s a massive positive and we need to build on it, Oldham is going to be massive

True, it's the first time I've seen Grant and Mellis in the same game and both look good.

I know you're living in Manchester, do you know of anything to do in Oldham before the game excluding pubs?

There is nothing in Oldham. With the greatest respect it’s a dump, the area around the ground is soulless and depressing.

The best bet is to do what we’re doing and having beers away from there going in and getting out as quickly as possible - if driving or whatever look for some real ale pubs on the outskirts or Rochdale which may help you

Lee Mason sends our player off fair enough but doesn't book the lad who fouled Anderson in injury time.
Fair play to Carlisle first to stop us scoring in 27 league games and our first defeat in 20.
Onto Monday then

Lee Mason is the worst ref we've had this season. Prem ref too

We played Carlisle at home recently, (1-1) I thought they were a very good side. I don't know what theyr'e last three fixtures are, but you would fancy they will be very hard to stop now.

Funny old game, but it was Notts County who were the best team we've played at home for me this season. That was back in Feb, they played us off the park.

Still thought he kept stopping the game for too long to grab a breather though!

Last three fixtures are good on paper. Away to Grimsby on Monday, they're on terrible form and managed to not even get a shot away yesterday. Home to Crawley who might have won the last two but are now mathematically safe and otherwise on terrible form, then finally away at Yeovil who seem to be just sliding pathetically into non-league.

We are however, very easy to stop. Just ask Notts County, or Macclesfield, or Yeovil. Getting from where we are now, into the playoffs would still require a slice of luck I think. The only teams in the playoff chase who are genuinely speeding towards the finish line are Stevenage and Newport, and it's in Newport's hands too. I think I will be either them or Exeter that take the spot.

Of the teams I've seen only two twice Carlisle are probably the best side I've seen when we played them at home, their loan striker really stood out.
Clearly lack that bit of consistency that we have.

Stevenage v us on Monday, we have a poor record there. Defeat and its all over, which will be a blessed relief.

You need to show a bit of of Devon Lad's confidence... wherever he went.

With you playing Stevenage we absolutely have to beat Grimsby and I don't like those odds. We're obviously looking to Exeter to drop points, because you should only really be concerned about the teams above you and let the teams below you worry about themselves. However if we don't beat Grimsby in that scenario then it's Stevenage, not us that benefit and we find ourselves losing ground rather than gaining on the playoffs. You could draw but if we end up in the playoffs by just one point then we ain't gonna hang on to that.

Ashley Nadasan is his name. He went back to Fleetwood and plays quite regularly for them now I think.

I guess he was running out of steam.

There were a few of those yesterday

“Hope it doesn’t boil over”

That's him, very good player him and Chair of Stevenage caused us more problems than any other player this season.

I know the Cowleys are admirers of Mr Ng, think we tried to sign him in January.

I don’t know Lincoln’s financial situation or indeed Ng’s ambitions but I’d guess it was a short conversation. That said, he’d be a quality signing for anyone at the top end of L1 next season.

He’s the only one in our squad who’s played his way into a move up (don’t talk to me about George Ray). He’s gone from a potential Ollie Turton to far and away our best player. He’s had a solid 18 months now so hopefully gets a good move and one better than those flash in the pan ship jumpers (hi, George Cooper).

I've been watching him for some time, never thought his performances were too hot, despite his continued whistling.

He’s shite.

Has to stop play often so he can grab a breather every few minutes

Hopefully if he does go, it'll be a big wake up call to Ainley, Jones and Kirk, should they not move in the summer, to get their arses into gear, especially the former 2.

I don't think he'll command a huge fee, don't think teams would even be able to tell what his best position is. He's seemingly done ok at CB, well at RB but has traits(a wicked shot) which would make him useful further forward. Somewhere in the Cooper price bracket and I'd accept tbh.

Reckon Kirk could also be in line for a move, we saw with Jones 2 years ago and Cooper 18 months ago that some clubs take one look at a stats page and think 'ooohh, he's got a lot of assists/goals, he must be good'. Think that'll be the same for Kirk, with his 9 goals and 7 assists.

Back to the football and I'm concerned about Swindon today. We're shite on that ground and have been for the last decade. 6 straight losses, all by conceding 2 or more. Heavy defeats, limp performances, 3-1 leads blown in each of the last 2 visits. Worried the players will put their feet up after blowing by 2 probably conference bound teams, whilst Swindon are in desperation mode as they have to win to keep their top 7 hopes alive. Comfy home win. Hope I'm wrong.

Our annual lossat the county ground. Especially seeing the team. Playing our best midfield player at centre half is a strange one. Not sure why Ng doesn't play there or test Sass-Davies and play him again, he did fine on Friday. I really thought Dale would have got a start by now, and I think I'd even like to see Rielly given a go instead of Porter.

Can't see anything other than a Swindon win but it could be another high scoring game.

Swindon 3-2 Crewe (Robinson 2, Bennett, Ainley, Jones)
