Pretty even game so far at Mansfield, and considering we have had 10 men since the 10th minute i'll take that.

Ogbu doing well upfront holding the ball up and drawing fouls. Maynard had a one on one that Mckeown saved, and Vernam had a shot near the near the end straight at the keeper unfortunately.

Good to see we are trying to pass the ball around and still going forward despite going down to 10 but the final ball into the box letting us down. Stags had quite a lot of corners but not done much with them.

Ended a draw, seems fair even if circumstances were a bit odd. We're looking distinctly mid-table still but hanging around the top end. Thought new boy Brown looked decent, but he took a knock late on and came off.

Another game we control and lose due to individual errors, so typical. Both their second goals should've been kept out and that's what's lots us the game.

Good win that, 10 men for 80 mins, and Mansfield were poor, we defended well and restricted them to long range shots all second half.

Don't agree with the Ogbu substitution, he was holding the ball up well, as soon as he went off Mansfield had all the ball. Clifton was excellent though, his best game this season and more like he played last year. Played several postions and apart from his wasted shot when he was through at 0-0 didn't put a foot wrong.

Can see why stags only have 2 wins at home all season though, they didn't do much especially in second half when they had all of the ball. Topped off by a great finish from Benning.

Great start for Olly, sounded like we played well and deserved the win even with 10 men. We'll have bigger challenges than Mansfield to come no doubt but got to beat the teams in front of you. Confidence will be restored just as Olly gets a full week with the players, can't ask for much more!

Decent day for us without playing. Swindon, Bradford, FGR and Colchester all only draw and we stay 3rd. In fact if we win both games in hand we could go top. Next week at Swindon looks a big game, plus they now have a player suspended.

Today summed up why we shouldn't really invest in January and just write this season off. To not win a second home game in a row where we have controlled it is unacceptable. Both Walsall and Plymouth have looked poor yet managed to beat us due to individual errors, something needs to change.

Our annual slump has started, three successive draws including two against poor opposition with the basement side playing an hour with ten men. Despite a tonne of pressure we couldn't put the ball in the net.

Eleven games unbeaten now but it's meaningless if you keep drawing too many.

It’s hard to rank teams now because of money. I mean Wigan is a great example... For all intense and purposes they are a small ex non league club but people see them bigger with the new ground and decade in the Premier League and cup win. (That said they’d not even sell out for the likes of Arsenal etc) Hull get big crowds now but that more came with the new ground and generally potted around the lower leagues...

Bournemouth have always been pretty much a small L1/L2 club but now in the Premier how are they seen?

No comparison between Plymouth and these - Plymouth are a much bigger club and would easily average 20k plus in the Premiership - and that's their own fans, Wigan only get 20k when the other Lancashire teams fans take over their ground.

Hull were down to our sort of crowds at Boothferry Park and nearly went out of business. New stadium has transformed them...

That was really poor from our perspective. I have been impressed with the new manager so far but as I criticised Flitcroft for this, it's only fair I do the same to Coughlan. I can't understand why any professional manager would switch to a lopsided formation, with a target man on the flank. It's rookie stuff and should only be happening on Football Manager.

Incidentally, this was like a game of Football Manager. The 10 men always win 1-0 if they play 4-4-1 with a target man. As we were dominating possession I was thinking it's only a matter of time. Then boom, 0-1 to Wigan

He's normally quite good, our backup keeper is very dodgy though.

Deserved win is very debatable, if our keeper had played better we'd have at least drawn. From Plymouth's POV its probably the perfect away performance though, a smash a grab

Watson and Eastwood are both a bit error prone.

But there again Plymouth has about half the population of Bradford. Although Bradfords attendances are really impressive for this level and above, they do have really cheap season tickets whilst Plymouth don't. Just had a quick check and Plymouths season tickets were over 2.5 x more expensive than Bradfords based on purchasing the cheapest early bird offer for this season.

They are really cheap, although I prefer ‘affordable’.

It would be interesting to see how many Plymouth could sell at £175.00, for example. I think we sold 19,000 the other season, but that’s because they’re cheap, remember. Surely Plymouth could match that (if their ground held as much - which tells its own story).

We still haven’t averaged less than 8,200 in the league for 24 years. Whilst clubs averaging 8,200 would be considered absolutely brilliant. I know that paragraph is incredibly subjective.

We’re a big City with a large catchment area. We have Leeds 6 miles away and Huddersfield 7 miles. The Aire Valley area have always followed Burnley, and still do. The City used to have Park Avenue (and still do in some respects), but since their liquidation, the old fans either support the re-formed club or Leeds. Then there’s the rugby factor. Just because Bradford Bulls don’t pull in 17k anymore, doesn’t mean to say these fans just switch allegiance and follow a different support. Bulls and City fans, generally, do not get along.

Not to mention both Manchester clubs, both Sheffield clubs amongst the many others within 35 mile.

Sorry, I’m going on......all I’m saying is, there’s more to it than just looking at the cost of tickets and the outer-borough populations.

The second one he should've saved, just watched it back and it went under him

If a neutral had watched the Crawley v FGR game they would have had a pleasant afternoon. Two teams giving it a go but not particularly very good helped by a ref who also was not particularly very good.

A fan of either team will be spiting tacks that their team could not show that little bit of extra class to actually win the game.

From my point of view Crawley had three really presentable chances in the second had and didn't have a shot with any of them !

Personally, unless help is recruited, we will be playing this game again next season.
