Our wage budget will be about £2mil this season which whilst is still at the higher end of the division, we have the finances to see the season out with no fans coming through the door.

We got a further £1mil investment in March from our Indonesian investors and whilst £700k went on the pitch, the other £300k has been kept back to deal with the crisis. That’s to add to the £2.5mil we got from them back in September. We also got a quarter of a million for Micky Mellon heading to Dundee United so immediately there’s over half a million we’ve got covered which is a substantial amount in the current environment (Effectively reduces the wage bill from 2mil to 1.5mil already in terms of funds needed)

I think the wages cap, and how one gets around it, will be a largely academic problem this year. What matters is income. If there are no spectators until at least March quite a few clubs will not be viable - they simply won’t be getting enough money in to cover their committed wages. A few clubs will have owners who can out the money in, though if they are loans and not equity this is merely moving the date of the day of reckoning. Some will have reserves in a piggy bank or player sales. A few might have been innovative enough to raise reasonable chunks from new sources. A very select few may get a reasonable chunk in from iFollow. But most won’t.

Does that take into account the income from iFollow? I believe we've been one of the highest in the league for income through that but appreciate it's a bit of a drop in the ocean. What is nice though is our ability to generate income from away games through iFollow, that'll help offset some of the losses.

I assume it's just average attendance x average ticket price to get a simple figure.

I don’t think clubs will be handed a lump of money, no questions asked. I’d imagine there would be a central fund held by the EFL that clubs have to apply for a grant on production of certain financial information being given. No way will it be allowed for wages/signings for new players.

I dont think the will be a solution that will make all clubs happy. Salford really do not need extra funding,and Wigan will need every penny they can get. Without it some clubs will certainly fold.

Assuming this is the chart you're referring to it then the formula is complete nonsense - the losses they've calculated are the total capacity multiplied by the cost of a 'pint and pie'.

Masi51 is obviously to young to drink - so that negates the Bolton figures too....
Barrow's capacity is either 6,400 or 6.600 after the work in the summer - not 5,045
and as for most of them pie and pint prices....

Ours isn't too far out. I believe we budget for about £45k net income per home game once concessions factored in, VAT etc omitted.
