Character....Asbestos stands. Pissing up a wall. Standing against a crush bar...Sticking your head out past metal girders so you get a better view.
Nowhere to park, walk three miles from the nearest train.
yes i could see you was not fishing

If I was arsed, I'd waste my time replying to you and I'd tear you a new one like that Rotherham chap who then disappeared. You're just boring though. Proper shit club Bolton are. Shambles.

I like your Bolton’s and Leicester’s ground for comfort and facility but they all generally look the same which is boring.

Old rickety grounds like Vale Park, Blundell Park etc, when rocking are something different.

Exactly. Grounds like Hillsborough and Goodison Park under lights are pretty much the best places on Earth to watch football. All the concrete bowls or Lego stadiums (Col U, Northampton etc.) are boring as fuck.

I’m not bitter. Sad for Doyle going from a club where he was loved to your entitled club where he’s being ridiculed already.

Doyle watch - 0 from 2
Doyle watch-1 from 3.......Gone quiet Dan the man

The big bank, now that's something special when the crowd are going. The largest terrace in English football. We got plenty of character down 'ere

Yes it is big. I still remember my very first away game back in April 1965. Rovers fans virtually filled that bank that day. It was an open end back then as well.

Never experienced Exeter... its a sore subject as the game got called off at 1:30pm when all the Vale fans had arrived including me! 8 hour round train trip in January for nowt!

I love it when away fans, Walsall are prime at it - Around the midlands, act like an 8 hour round trip is a lot. Walsall was one of our closest matches one season, and we were their furthest match.

But on a more serious note, I deffo recommend a trip to Exeter, especially now we have a covered away terrace (Barnets old one). We can actually hear the away fans in the home end now, as opposed to when there wasn't a roof. Teams could sell out and *apparently* sing all game and we genuinely didn't know

Do you actually pay good money to go into these death traps. We have not learned from the past.
When we return to grounds i certainly will not be attending to stand on a open terrace.

I think that ‘safety certificates‘ are required these days for football stands. I assume that Exeter City adhere to these rules.

So I wouldn’t worry too much about your elf and safety flower.

Terraces are great fun! (Non covid times of course) being rammed on the terrace at Macc in a sell out away end or Burton away (apart from when it was over sold and Vale fans had to stand on the touchline!)

Really Bolton,Bradford Rangers Hillsborough Hysel Thankfully new stadiums have changed all that
All you're doing is pointing out policing issues not problems with terraces. See.. umm.. every single terrace in existing bar the ones you mentioned.

I cannot comment as i have not stood on a terrace for over 25 years.
I was brought up as a kid on the terraces....it certainly was not fun.

More chance of being trampled to death by the crowds at Middlebrook Shopping Centre than dying on the terraces at a lower league football ground.

The terraces are one of the great joys of being in League Two. I mean so long as it's not raining if they don't have a roof over them. Atmosphere.

You get standing at pretty much all music venues, festivals etc.

At Download festival for example you get 80k people stood in a field with mosh pits and walls of death or whatever kicking off left right and centre. But you're not allowed to stand at football in the PL or Championship because it's unsafe apparently.

Our winger Ryan Colclough is under investigation for assaulting an emergency services worker.

What a start to the season this is. Our starting LB, RB, CB and two strikers injured, one of our wingers going to jail and a manager that refuses to play our best two players.
