I’m expecting back to back defeats at home to Accrington and Coventry.

Our record this season against the top 7 has been atrocious and I’ve seen nothing to suggest that will change any time soon.

Newport at home and we have no fit central defenders. :ffs: We desperately need to bring in some cover next month.

Well apart from his assist against (4 games ago), he hasn’t contributed much so I don’t see the problem.

I reckon that the lovable fat piece of shit Steve Evans will be in the Main Stand later which happens to him pretty much every time he brings a team here and he doesn't win.
Already been spoken to by the ref the fucking fat obnoxious tax evading cretin.

I don't know how you can say such things about him. He is a thoroughly decent chap.

Exeter have had the ball in the net twice already but both chalked off. We're actually sounding a lot better than Saturday despite that.

Sounds like there's a chance our game will get called off at the half, lot of standing water on the pitch and still raining. Shame as we're doing OK.

2-0 up at Morecambe and sounds like a cliche away performance. Sit and let the home side come forward and counter.
Both goals sound like mistakes from the home defence but Lewis’ was taken very well.

Two average looking sides today. If we had anyone clinical at all we could've scored a few. We defended well enough for most of the game but once they scored we had fuck all left to get back into it. Referee was incredibly bad but that's no surprise. Dembele was mint, Woolford invisible, Vernon utterly shit. MOM to Evans for lasting 90 minutes. If we sign a good striker next month, alongside J Osborne returning, we might make some noise. Disappointed in Mansfield as a team I expected to be challenging, though I imagine they'll be spending shortly.

Another jeyklle and Hyde performance from Mansfield.

First half we made an average Grimsby side - basically dembele and 10 cloggers - look amazing, which was a challenging thing to do. They were a much better side and could and should have been infront by more. It was a really poor performance from us.

2nd half was pretty much just us camped in their half - but our problem being is we don't create enough clear cut chances. A suppose a draw was a fair result in the end.

We just can't keep falling asleep for halves of football and expect to win games. We've got to put more Together. If I hadn't seen Mansfield play so far this season id have been somewhat confused by our performance.

Not a good start for us at Cheltenham, our captain James Bailey strechered off after 5 seconds with what looks like a broken leg :conf:

Great win for Vale. Got a nice gap now between us and the bottom two. On to Luton.

Great win for us at Cheltenham. Our first back to back league wins since October 2016. We've still 19th but we've scored more league goals than Lincoln who are 3rd. Crazy.

Good win that and massively deserved against Coventry. Good to see Smith get one this season. 23 points from 12 games now!

Good win today 2-0 at home to Newport our 6th home win on the trot as The Beast scored his 12th of the season after Nathan Tyson put us 1-0 up in the first half. :)

A nice 4-1 win today for us to keep us 2nd and 2 goals for the best goalscoring midfielder in this league.

Straight forward win for us today without having to be particularly good.

Their 'keeper pulled off what looked like a worldie save from Raggett before Anderson headed in a rebound from a Matt Green shot, Green then volleyed in a well worked set piece and Ginnelly slots in from a rebound late on. Anderson missed from about 6 yards as the ball bobbled up from a Green square ball and we had a few others half chances on the break.

Stevenage had two or three lively attacking players (Godden and Newton were two) but were just a bit 'meh' all over the park. Not enough pace in the side, not quite enough strength, were on the small side as well and not good enough in either box either. A lot of tippy tappy stuff but they had to do that because they had no height up front to do anything else.

Decent home turnout of 9k+.

Mansfield were garbage in the first half. We weren't in it at all and Grimsby scored from a very sloppy piece of play as White dribbled from the full back position and was dispossessed. What a bloody prat! He was terrible for the whole of the first half, was lucky not to be sent off and was rightly substituted at half time. A really pants performance from a player who I normally rate.

Second half we rallied, the game started to stretch and we were able to equalise. Either side could have nicked it but I thought we looked the more likely.

The best player on the pitch was Dembele. His pace, agility and balance was remarkable and his dribbling was causing a lot of panic without really having any end product. With some quality coaching there could be a top player there and wouldn't surprise me if someone gambles on him in January.

A comfy away win for Crewe Alex, couple of well worked if slightly fortuitous goals and then didn't really push hard for a 3rd, which was slightly disappointing. A good side would have run in 4 or 5 goals. Chesterfield were shocking, they played exactly the same way they did at Gresty Road, loads of sideways passes and no cutting edge, plus they looked wide open whenever we won the ball back. Good 3 points, but if we can't build on it, we'll remain near the bottom.
