Despite being situated right at the top of England. you don’t actually hear that many Scottish accents at Brunton park believe it or not. So no not much of a Scottish welcome.
How’s that humour transplant working out?

Not good at all from him. Seems this happened initially when on loan with us. I wonder if Vale knew about it. Wouldn’t have him back here now to be honest as just think we have better options and he’d be fourth choice at best.

He has been 5th choice in the main since signing. Sent off in the first game of season for cuffing Donny's keeper at the final whistle and other than his chavvy dad kicking off on social media that Hughes wasn't picking him, that's about it.

Be glad to see the back of him .

Don't know how this xg bollocks works. Is this just saying we've been very unlucky
It's a combination of things, I always feel like 'expected goals' is a poor choice of name because it plays into the idea where people will look at the stats and say they deserved to win. It says that if football was just about playing to create a good chances on goal but all else was equal you'd be top. If there was no variation in the ability of shot-takers or shot-stoppers, if there was no luck, no pyschological stuff or any of that then you'd be top. It's becoming popular with stattos because for the most part football is about creating quality chances and limiting the opposition, but the manager can't take the shot, that's on who it falls to and also the other stuff. It's not saying that Stockport deserve to be top but it suggests they're doing 90% of the game right.

Clearly fucking up the other 10% good and proper.

Silly from Kian and a real shame as he has the raw talent to be a very good striker. It was a shame he didn’t sign in the summer but he heard we were after Telford and wanted more regular football I believe and it just hasn’t worked out at Bradford. Thought after his play off exploits where he pretty much turned the semi around and scored in the final he would push on.

Not sure he would have had a massive look in with what we have now but with Wilson potentially out again and Procs crocked he would possibly have had chances.

Not really sure how Carol would view this though in terms of him returning when the window opens and certainly hasn’t gone down too well with our fan base.

We do get a small number of Rangers fans visit Brunton Park when they're not playing.

Regarding the paddock situation. The most logical solution would have been to stick a copper and a couple of stewards in the area.

Any excuse for the club to fuck over the fans (not even been made to do it by the FA). Just another in a long line of events. That area is directly below the directors box, they've probably been dying for an excuse to remove fans away from them and now they've got their wish.

I think the proximity of the dugouts to the paddock is one of the great features of Brunton Park and is fairly unique. It adds an extra element for the away team to handle. If anything we probably go a bit too easy on the opposition.

Hadn’t considered that but there could be something in that. They’ve had it easy since bringing Simpson back but maybe they want the fans away from them for when they flog half the squad in January.

Not being funny, but it’s why you are such ridiculously short odds with the bookies in most matches. It’s these kind of stats they use to compile their prices.

Thanks, I'm still going to take it as a positive since most of the past twenty years it's been the other way around.

Possibly miffed that he didn't get on the pitch last Saturday to continue his feud with Ian Henderson, which has been going on for years...

Nice windfall coming our way. With Jonny Williams and our ex keeper Wollacott both going to the WC, we’ll get c£325,000 in compensation.

That’s based on both players being away from their clubs for 30 days.

Why do you get compensation for Wollacott being at the World Cup?

He was playing for us during qualification. We go 50-50 with Charlton for him and 75-25 for Jonny Williams @$10k per day,

Happy days if it’s a Wales v Ghana Final - we’d get loads!

Should be looking at a decent wedge when Southgate calls Andy Cook up then.

Crawley have announced we will be ending the use of Horsham's ground as a training pitch (4g) and will now move to Southwater (the other side of Horsham) where we will be using grass pitches.

I think all our coaches and fans are hoping that the move onto grass will help cure the endemic injury crisis we seem to have had over the last few years. It's the sort of injury lst Carlilse fans have nightmares about. It seems to affect defenders and midfield mostly.

FYI: Horsham is the town next to Crawley and is often cited as one of the richest places in England.

Missed this the other day but we’ve made it to the final four in the European ’More Than Football’ community award, alongside Newcastle, FC Twente and Bilbao.

Apparently we’re now invited to Budapest to present to European clubs delegates who will decide the winner. Our tackling loneliness project in lockdown is the reason we’ve been nominated.

An excellent achievement and exactly what clubs at our level quite often don’t get praise for, because I’m sure most other clubs in this league have other community projects doing good work (just not as good as ours obviously!!)

This just in from Budapest……we won!!

The European Cup of community projects will be heading back to Sixfields. A genuinely really really impressive feat and everyone at the club who put it together should be very proud.

Harrogate let him go. You’ve answered your own question.
