Horseman was caught at 2am in a Cheltenham kebab shop after the Bradford defeat midweek.

I suspect it is that our "temporary loan" goalkeeper was ineligible to play in the replay against Scarborough Athletic, but hopefully it will be clear soon enough. Can we pin that on both Horseman and the DoF as a reason to sack both?

Looks like they signed an emergency loan keeper for 7 days on 30th September and he was still playing until this week! If true, maybe league points deductions too?

I just watched the Notts County match from the cup last night and I have to say if they get promoted then their defence will be completely eaten alive in L1.

The standard of defending in this league has dropped by historic proportions since we went up.

No it hasn't, it's probably on a par with other seasons. Our defence gets eaten alive in this division but I'm pretty sure we'll improve it in the window.

We're putting a 2289 seater temporary stand up behind the goal, still got complications to sort before we can start on the proper stand. Old sewer line, Electrical supply to flats next door to be moved etc.

I wouldn't want to be sat on there with fuck all cover on a freezing night in January.

Club should have done this ages ago though.

Stands with no roofs in the EFL is a joke, far too many in this division.

English football's in the richest state it's ever been yet there are temporary stands that seem to be permanent at some gaffs, stands without a roof and clubs without their own training grounds.

Something just isn't right .

Is it at its richest state? A lot of clubs are making losses.

Luckily all 4 sides of our stadium are UEFA b graded. Luxury facilities across the board

Only time I visited the New Lawn we got ushered in to a block in the main stand because the little stand behind the net was full, think it had seats at the time. So cannot complain because both had roofs.

Personally, I would fuck all away fans off and stick them in the temp seating till the kop will start to be built. And if the demand isn't there (Harrogate at home, for example) then put them in the lower corner and have the rest of home fans behind both goals.

We need to look after our own so as it stands, away fans will be nice and dry whilst we get pissed on.

Also be interesting to see how many take the offer up when its in the cold murky months of Dec, Jan etc before the weather improves. I can't see it selling out or being close to, but then again this is a new age.

It's a pity they couldn't stick a roof on it too. I'm not sure I would fancy sitting there in the open in January.

I do think it will sell out for every league game though. They will have already done the maths and wouldn't be building it otherwise. Having a four sided ground again for the first time in many years will be a novelty too.

Is there still some covered seating for away fans when the open temporary stand is in place?

Yes, away fans will remain in the same place, in the Yale stand, just past the bottom right of this picture. All seated and covered.

The temporary stand will be in the left hand side of this picture, in the space where the old Kop was and where the new permanent Kop stand is planned.

At least with us it's down to a case of not having a pot to piss in for the majority of the temp stand's life. I understand why Wrexham are doing it as their permanent build has run into a couple of problems and they want the capacity right now, but you'd have thought with the money splashing about there they'd be able to roof the thing, especially if the stand is going to be for their own supporters.

(Fully aware that we could now roof our stand with the current ownership, but the thing is barely used and wouldn't be worth the cost).

The longest ever 7 day emergency loan.

Think it's a loophole a lot of EFL clubs exploit. If you have a 'fake' no.2, ie a keeper that has virtually zero pro appearances for anyone, you can save money and are allowed to bring in an experienced loan as and when needed.

Good job i'm down the side, like any like minded individual who does their homework (also went there in 2008 in Carey's first game in charge, naturally lost that one).

The latest theory is that Belshaw shouldn’t have played in the replay. He was ok to play in the first match as the only other keeper FGR got had not played five first team games. However between the first game and the replay the other FGR keeper played in the piss pot trophy game which became his fifth ever first team game.

But if that's the case Belshaw would have been ineligible for our last 4 league games as well then. Which doesn't seem to be the case.

The amount of money going around in football is ridiculous, yet Morecambe who have been up for sale for 15 months cannot get a buyer ,today the board of directors have released a statement saying they have no confidence in our owners bond group to make a sale ,this is the same bond group that owned Worcester Warriors and put them into administration.I believe when we were a league 1 club the owner tried to sell but massively over valued the club ,after getting relegated last season our value dropped yet he is holding out for the asking price. The owner isn't talking to the directors so they are also being kept in the dark like the fans, there has been stirrings for protests and boycotts but that would only hurt the club as the directors have informed us that bond group can't take any money out of the club and all money coming in from match days is much needed .Hopefully something can be sorted soon but I can't see it myself ,it's bloody frustrating that it can't be resolved
