I suppose the good thing for Swindon supporters is that the Disciplinary Commission took the view that the problems had been 'admin' rather than the club being unable or choosing not to pay.

I mean that's probably fair. Most of them are absolutely useless.

Our owners had to prove 2 years of funding when they brought us (18 months ago). One of the front men has been very ill and the other has disappeared.

All the slagging off seems to have left them frightened to speak. Not overly optimistic about our future at the moment.

What are your fears? Financial? Not progressing / challenging for promotion? WAGMI selling to a complete charlatan?

As for them not speaking, I think it's really sensible on their part. They're terrible at communication, but also it's starving the WAGMI Out people of oxygen. It's exactly what I thought they should do. Let Lindsey take the credit for anything that goes well. WAGMI hold their hands up if anything goes badly wrong.

A mid-table finish (and if things go your way, the playoffs aren't fantastical) and a set of accounts showing that the club is stable, and everyone can take stock at the end of the season. I'm not sure a season is going to be long enough for people to forget about last season's circus, but you never know.

They key question for Crawley's future is probably whether they can cut the losses each season to a negligible amount, which would help them to sell the club, and which is what I'm sure they'd like to be able to do.

PS - The entity 'Wagmi United Limited' Company number 13829220, will probably be 'struck off' any day now. i presume that WAGMI haven't left any assets in this entity, and have just not bothered to dissolve it. I hope so, because

Well, financial really and that from companies house doesn't help.

I too wished they would shut up but there's shutting up and there's no nothing at all .

The NFT market seems to have died, the abuse they got from the fans (a lot not warranted) probably means they have no love for the club which means they may cut their loses and paddle back over the pond.

Club have announced that matchday tickets are reduced from £27 to £24 next season. This goes for away tickets as well I assume.

That’s a good effort.

Crazy that prem fans can pay £30 max for away tickets but can be nearly that in our league.

Clearly we don’t have billions of TV rights money but there should be some ceiling for tickets.

You can’t charge more to away fans for match day tickets, the way clubs get around it is through membership schemes

EFL did start cracking down on that making the membership scheme a certain value, ie I don’t believe you can just charge £20 for a membership to get discounted tickets anymore.

Quite possibly but there are 5/10 game packages and half season tickets too, don’t get me wrong I’m all for fair pricing and would love full grounds

I pay about £16.50 per match with my season ticket for AFC Wimbledon and it's due to drop considerably when I turn 65 in three years. Compare this to away ticket prices - £25? And premium seats as much as £32 in the home ends. Yes we have a stadium debt to service but I think we're milking it a tad too much

Pity we at Mansfield won’t be able to take advantage of this kind offer next season.

Our season ticket prices were the same this season as they were last season, in League One, I wonder if they will go down next season if (or when) we are relegated back to the National League...however, all things considered, I am paying £17 per game which I still reckon would be decent value a division lower, if prices are held again.

Mine is £13.34 per game. Although that’s for an old farts ST.

Think I’m just above £15 per game, but I’m near the top of our Ian Greaves stand, the perfect height and view for a game of football. Can get cheaper STs in the Quarry Lane end.

In my younger days I enjoyed watching from behind a goal - now it’s got to be a side stand just to get the best perspective.

We had a fans forum tonight. Without any fans in attendance.

Vision for the club is "Remain sustainable and keep this business alive." Alexander looks completely drained, doesn't he? Change or ownership or the club dies in a few years.

I'm not an old fart just yet...they pay £13.30, far cheaper than Swindon!
Old farts STs kick in at 65 at AFC Wimbledon. Nigh on a third off. Roll on 2027 followed by my state pension two years later. Much love to the clubs who allow pensioners tickets at 60. Hi to Crawley, Newport and Doncaster. Thank you.

We even get a bus pass at 60 (like Londoners) although the buses and everything else except e-scooters/bikes can't go more than 20mph

I’m still a behind the goal type of guy even though the general view is not as good but it just seems a better atmosphere and also normally you know if a shot is going just wide rather than being in the side and being fooled into thinking it’s going in.
Saying that though the last 2 seasons I’ve been to Bradford away, last season I was behind the goal and this season I was in the side and the side there is miles better.
That stand behind the goal at Bradford it just felt weird being in it not sure why.

Very similar position to ourselves with the one exception that our CEO/Owner continue to peddle the bollocks that we’re still going for it. At least you know where you stand.

Obviously it’s going to take the owner wanting sell and at a reasonable price but when that happens (will at some point imo) I imagine Bradford will be highly sought after by some potential football club owners with deep pockets.

Part of the problem really Conker - Rupp doesn't want to sell at a reasonable price it seems. I think not owning anything will put plenty of interested parties off, too. The rent is massive for this level which was said to be half a million a year, according to the fans forum last night. Don't think we need someone to come in and start splashing lots of cash, think we all just want someone who is interested and who has a clear plan and vision for the club.

I dunno how true it is but I have a work colleague who supports Bradford and reckons you are paying out near a million a year for the stadium and training facilities which is obviously a big issue, and would make sense why you cannot compete with those at the very top budget wise, but you are still massively underachieving because it’s clearly still competitive.

I don’t doubt whoever comes in needs deep pockets, it’s going to require paying a bit over initially then finding a solution to the stadium and training facility.

I don’t think Rupp can be slagged off for running the club sustainably but obviously the money that is available is not being spent properly and ultimately it’s those at the top to blame.
