I was a bit surprised he didn't move on in the summer. Certainly don't see him here next season. He could even move before the week is out, you wouldn't be surprised.

As an outsider, I think I would be surprised to see him leave for the reason that I really don't think players want to leave you. Didn't you have 2 or 3 players that stayed post summer window despite not even being in the squad list? There is the money they're on that I'm not sure will be matched and in someone like Palmer's case, I think he really enjoys being Ollie Palmer, Wrexham FC with the profile it's giving players. Clothing brands, can't move for him on podcasts etc.

We've not lost anyone we actually wanted to keep since the takeover really. I think Palmer still lives down south and for that reason I think a lot of us have doubted whether he'd see his contract out. Whilst he is still decent I think we can do better and thought that in the summer.

Waters has gone on loan, McFadzean is still here but not registered to play. The rules mean someone is going to be leaving if we are to bring a striker in this week, it's not easy to shift people out when they are on a good screw.

So the transfer of power went through this morning meaning we are no longer a fan owned club! the new owner is Huw Jenkins who performed wonders at Swansea City before selling his shareholding to an American consortium lets hope he can repeat that feat with us.

Great time for him to come into the club with the glamour tie on Sunday.

Coughlan done an excellent job with you IMO. With what your budget was in the summer, I had you down to struggle.

Tbf clubs are always trying to do something different with official new signing reveal videos/interviews. This is definitely a unique effort.
It was supposedly leaked; presumably by one of the Gills players forwarding it to his contacts to see if anybody could figure out what the guy was trying to say, and whether they thought he was dangerous.

Remeao Hutton, just signed for Gillingham from Swindon. I'm assuming that's a message he's sent in a group chat to his new team mates maybe?

Comes across as some sort of initiation prank that a Gillingham player has then leaked out.

I'll give you that game, but we'll take another promotion whilst you boys linger with yet another relegation. ;)

Latest news from our A&E department is that George Miller is out until January of next year, I’m going with him having his second left foot removed

Walsall charging £5 to get into their (new) bar tomorrow? Does anyone else do anything as mad as this? Thought they’d want people to spend money there.

You’d have a heart attack if they charged at our place given the price of the beers in the bar.

They wonder why pubs are closing when, around here, it's £6 a pint or you pop into Tesco and buy the same for a £1.

I like your company but not enough to pay a fiver for it!

I once went for the tenancy of a Punch owned pub. I knew the running of one was expensive but when I got the books to look over I couldn't believe how much it cost on a day to day basis. I gave up on that idea and went back into the Navy!

Other than the big foody chain pubs I do wonder how they survive.

That's OK isn't it? I thought a Swindon fan on here was expecting points deduction.

I think there is a separate investigation into actual ownership of the club. At this juncture I've not really got a clue what's happening behind the scenes. But with that said this is now the second piece of 'admin' that we've been caught out on. The first was a transfer of shares that was done seemingly 'on the fly' which we got punished with, and now this.

It wouldn't surprise me if there are future misdemeanours found. There is an outstanding court case to see who ultimately owns the club.

I suppose the good thing for Swindon supporters is that the Disciplinary Commission took the view that the problems had been 'admin' rather than the club being unable or choosing not to pay.
