Bromley are still massive shithouses but have evolved into a reasonable footballing side this season, the fact that refs put on more added time has curbed a lot of the funny business. It gives no pleasure saying it but they've got a real chance in the play offs. Barnet are on the flakey side. Can't see them going up.

Braintree were the ones that didn't like us in the NL, which we all found a bit weird at the time (although we did end up winning 11 on the spin against them), but when Cowley joined us it transpired that when we went into administration back in 2002, we owed money to their Chairman's printing firm.

Our game tonight is off now, doubt Saturday will go ahead either looking at the temps if this one can’t go ahead.

We’ve announced Callum Ainley has cancer, more awful news from what has been a horrid couple of weeks for the club
Op has been a success and he's expected back in training next month, so while that is shocking news it sounds like they've caught it early and that he's doing well thankfully.

Regarding ups and downs, not really arsed about who comes down. Exeter aside who I like, it's very much a list of boring beige clubs from somewhere down South/the North West. Will be nice to welcome Chesterfield back up and then anyone but Bromley please. Would be quite nice to see Alty come up.

What is the general thoughts on the postponement and potentially Saturday in your camp? Rather have them played now or at a later date?

Mansfield obviously scared of playing us, that's twice this has been called off now. It's not even that cold.

Utterly ridiculous.

Even though we looked knackered at Morecambe and given injuries might have not been able to make too many changes tonight especially up top I’d have rather it gone ahead. FGR are in awful form, no doubt when we get to play them Deeney will be long gone and they’ll have someone that they’re fighting for their lives for in..

Same with Saturday, feel like it’s a big chance to get some points at home lost and I’d rather have points on the board over games in hand even if they are against teams scrapping to stay up.

Next game likely to be Wimbledon away now, only positive is we might have at least a striker in by then and a few of Akins, DKD, Bowery and Macca will be properly rested.

The information from the club is absolutely pathetic we must be a laughing stock

People always say this about non league pitches but at the end of the day we're dealing with a frozen pitch. Big stands creating shadows and blocking sun entry that can keep parts of pitches frozen. Not sure Matlock for example would have that. Once a pitch is frozen and you don't have undersoil heating, it doesn't really matter much about pitch quality. And at that point having decent sized stands is a disadvantage.

The big stand has that affect but we had frost covers on and heat lamps on the bit under that stand, it’s currently 2c in Mansfield.

Apparently Mansfield get one more chance to get this game on at their own ground or it will be moved to a more suitable less tinpot location like Rainworth Minors Welfare FC.

When we got locked out of our stadium by Haslam we were planning on buying that and building a new stadium on it

Given the theme of this conversation the irony is that when he did lock us out he was going to make a big fuss as we couldn’t play the game but then we got about a foot of snow and the game was called off anyway

we may be moaning about the postponement and other things but just think how different and much more enjoyable it is being a stags fan now compared to then.

Some right murky stuff coming to light this evening. Morfuni says he’s put an extra £850,000 into the club to cover expenses. When asked what these expenses are, we are told they are still left overs from the Power ownership - none documented. So we ask, why are we paying then. Here’s the reply

Some of the people involved are not the sort of people you can just ask to stop using facilities/services hence the legal route to safeguard the club and clean this all up.’

The Trust have deleted that now, but it's all over the place with our fans, lower league look, the adver etc. (local paper for those not of an STFC standpoint) I got an email from the Trust last night and the chairman is due to speak to media this week as well as put a recorded video on the website. Talk of protest is getting noisier as time goes on and these things seem to come out in the open.

It's difficult to know what to think at the moment with all this murkiness. I only hope its resolved quickly.

Jesus. And there's me compaining because Winkleman doesn't put his hand in his pocket enough for us. A question about your ground? Who actually owns it now? I'm presuming there are protections in place to stop an owner selling out from under you again or doing some malarky deal to seperate club and ground?
