I see the Tory MP for Harrow East, Bob Blackman is in Parliament moaning about the noise caused by Barnet and The Hive.

Maybe he should check to see why exactly the team moved from Underhill in the first place?

Not enough for the Conservative Party to the force them out of one borough is it?

Bob Blackman is a prize tosser and a hypocrite considering his beloved Spurs are causing massive disruption to the Wembley area by playing a full league programme there this season, not to mention the eagerness of Haringey council to ensure that Spurs' were able to redevelop White Hart Lane with the maximum of ease.

Yeah. Let's start a thread on this Bob tosser

Hmm, on second thoughts, I think he has made a valid point. I would make Barnet forfeit their next home game, and award the three points to their opponents. We've got enough inconvenience and noise as it is so it's time we said no more.

Any Grimsby fans want to recommend a pub in Stevenage
Our Mutual Friend is popular as is The Roebuck, both easily walkable to the ground. Nothing half decent in the town centre. The old town has a lot of good pubs but is a taxi ride to the ground.
The clubhouse is OK. All are freindly to away fans in my experience.

I hear Katie Price is thinking of attending a Stevenage away game as she likes the idea of being forced to get her baps out.

No. thrice times no!! I think the hypocritical tosser deserves his own thread... but I'll only act if I get sufficient likes for.....

I think our buying the freehold may have triggered it. Stops him from using his tory council friends to cause mischief.

Was the same with the Stevenage team who went straight up under Westley, they had the likes of Lawrie Wilson, Michael Bostwick, John Mousinho, Joel Byrom and Scott Laird who all went on to be good in higher leagues.
Yes, hey we're all great players for us.

How they all doing now? Not sure about Mousinho's whereabouts but all the rest are back in L2. We will see Bossie on Sat, he plays CM for Lincoln.

Mousinho is at Burton Albion I think.

Stevenage for us tomorrow, who have started the season well, although their fixtures seem to have panned out relatively well for them.

No injuries so everyone to choose from, which is a good job really!

So Newport away,at least we'll be playing on grass unlike the last 2 seasons whefre it looked more like a beach with all the sand and puddles on it.

I was thinking when I saw the goals last weekend that it would be a good time to be playing Newport away to be fair.

We're at home to Crawley tomorrow. Our home form is excellent, but every other week it becomes all doom and gloom again with our diabolical performances on the road. Crawley looked like they were going to be this season's whipping boys but have turned it around with a couple of good results. We have never beaten them though...

Agreed Mowgli, I certainly don't think it's a good time to play them at all. Newport have only played just the one home game so far but they came from a goal down and scored four goals in 45 mins. Their away form's decent too with just the one loss at Exeter, and apparently they deserved at least a point in that game.

A bit odd that dedwardp seems to think otherwise.

Because they're pitch isn't a sandpit? Thought that was pretty obvious when quoting "at least we'll be playing on grass unlike the last 2 seasons".

Dunno dedward, but I've always believed that the state of the pitch is the same for both sides. In fact, I'm positive that the Newport players didn't see the sorry excuse for a footy pitch they had as something that gave them some kind of an advantage over their opponents.

We're away at Yeovil - Gary Johnson has finally admitted us being bottom is his fault and that it's up to him to turn our fortunes around. Given he didn't feel it necessary to sign a right back/wing-back it remains to be seen how he intends to do that.

All being said though, we didn't play badly against Stevenage and it was only a couple of moments of madness that led to us losing to Exeter, so we're not too far away. Win tomorrow and get a decent result at Newport on Tues then things will be a little more rosy, lose both and the claws really will be out for Johnson - especially if he keeps sniping at the press asking him reasonable questions.

Oh crap The Beast misses out through injury. :ohm: Umerah who is on loan from QPR replaces him and still no Sam Saunders. :(

Decent game for a 0 - 0. Chances at both ends, Wycombe prob shaded it. Bit like last week in that we were better first half, then oppo stronger second half. Draw fair result and another point closer to safety.

Only turned up for the second half today by the sounds of it and did it the difficult way.

Green booked for encroachment on the second half kick off and then kicking the ball away 5 minutes or so later.

Crawley looked as bad as Forest Green until we sat back and tried to defend a 3-0 lead. Could/should have had six or seven again really, so frustrating that our home and away form is so Jekyll and Hyde.

Stevenage fans thoughts please? Sounded like you guys didn't know what to do when we went down to 10 men and then completely lost the plot from listening to our commentary. Our first away win in the league since Feb 5th 2011!
