Stevenage fans thoughts please? Sounded like you guys didn't know to do when we went down to 10 men and then completely lost the plot from listening to our commentary. Our first away win in the league since Feb 5th 2011!

Obviously not a Stevenage fan but driving home whilst listening to the local radio there were many messages coming calling you lot a rugby team and the like.

Found that somewhat amusing given the way they have played in the not too distant past!

I think we were called a non-league club as well, which is rather ironic given that they made their name as a non-league side and have spent hardly any time in the FL themselves.

If teams like how you've played they've beaten you if they don't like how you've played you've beaten them.
Their twitter saying their player collided with Woodyard when he stamped on him is priceless.
They were very much at 'it' in the first half going over the slightest touch, they lost the game cos of their inability to close out a game when we had 10 men and were 1 up.

Very weird how they just lost the plot when they had the man advantage.

We didn't look like we had 10 men.

Just back from an excellent victory. In terms of performance it wasn't great but it was the team spirit that got the win. First half was so, so poor. We just didn't play with any intensity, closing down and build up play was really slow and very unlike us. Stevenage should've been 2 up and played some neat football.

Second half, well Green's sending off was just ridiculous. Show me a team who don't encroach on kick offs? After that Green lost his head and stupidly kicked the ball away following another poor decision against him. Palmer coming on was key, he won headers, held the ball up really well and his mobility allowed us to play higher up the pitch. Stevenage should have pushed on but started going long which played into our hands. Knott's first decent set piece delivery (please get Sam back on set pieces) saw Raggett thump the ball home and the penalty was needless, why he hand balled it I've no idea. Palmer slotted it away and we ground out the win. The red for Stevenage was an awful stamp, Woodyard was so tenacious and frankly out battled their fella who lashed out.

Onwards to FGR and to keep the momentum going.

The Yeovil keeper got their motm award today. I think that sums the game up. Appears we did everything but score, including Danny Wright punching and smashing the dugout having been taken off after 23 mins in a tactical move.

Apparently some complaints will be going in about the Yeovil steward as well who took our fans' drum and put a hole in it, despite the fan calling in the week to see if it would be ok to bring it and the stewards obviously letting him in with it (it's a bass drum, it would hardly have been sneaked in). He apparently told them that the home fans had complained about the noise!!!! Now, I think it's fair to say that if you don't like loud noises, then attending a football match is probably not for you.

Zoom in on this for the very clear hand ball, if there was any doubt.

Yeovil stewards didn't complain about our drummer and he didn't stop all game, plus as it was a Tuesday night in Winter we were in the stand as they wouldn't open the away end so it must have sounded even louder. Been to Yeovil a few times and found their stewards really friendly you must have found one in a bad mood

Ollie Palmer says our support is easily the best he's played under.

One for the Luton, Mansfield and Grimsby fans that.

Well, after 6 games I've been pleasantly surprised at the football played in L2 - although most of the rubbish I've witnessed has, unfortunately, come from us.

Convinced we'll get it right at home in the not too distant

Mansfield fans - parking is going to be absolutely horrific on Saturday.

The South Common is closed so it'll be street parking in the main. There are a couple of car parks you can use, which are about a 10 minute walk away from the ground and I'll dig out some postcodes for you later in the week.

Well that's a bummer. Don't the league fixture planner take things like this into account.

I blame the Imps for not telling the EFL when the fixtures are being prepared.

Pretty even game at Dave tonight. Chelts weak up front but surprised GJ subbed Wright and Asa at ht and then put Pell up top. Good 3 points but result could have gone either way. Dreadful weather and pitch held up well. Would've been abandoned last season.
