He was decent for us, except if you needed him around Christmas
Ah yes the annual red card just before!
He was decent for us, except if you needed him around Christmas
Be about 6 nil and probably only be 100 vale fans there. The official coach won't get there till 2ish so won't be worth walking to them pubs anyway. I'm not going after witnessing that joke display at Cheltenham last week.Providing I don't get food poisoning for the second saturday in a row I'll be at the County Ground this weekend at home to Port Vale.
We have a decent home record against Vale and our recent home form is improving. Vale seem to be struggling a bit but we have a few injuries and have had some tough matches in the recent Sat-Tue-Sat-Tue shoot out. Also late goals conceded at Lincoln and Wycombe mean we are 3 points down on where we could/should be.
Hopefully we aren't too tired and can put pressure on Vale from the start. Get an early goal and press home the advantage.
For any Vale fans travelling, the Merlin on Drove Road is probably the closest bar and has a good mix of home and away fans. For real ale aficionados, glue pot is your pub of choice. Safe journeys to all that travel.
Didn't Jeff Minton miss a penalty for us in the first game aswell?Canvey Island... memories (not good) of 2000... 4-2 up in injury time they pegged us to 4-4 and did us over in extra time in the reply 2-1!
Our fans forum wasn't merely as exciting as yours. No dodgy PowerPoints, no blaming of the fans for driving away of investment, no endless drivel spouted by an accountant who seemed to hate the fans and no said accountant telling fans to shut up. Shame really oh and no abusing of the panel host by the non chairman. And most importantly not a brown leather jacket in sight. We're doing it wrong
Cmon, who fucking wants some then?

We finally get a midweek off next week! The sun is out dahn souf. The stadium is waiting for the hordes of fans (cough) to come rattling through the turnstiles to watch two teams play a scintillating brand of football not seen since the last home game ( err.. last week).
Crawley welcome Lincoln in which is our first meeting since the last one. The new moon and the Redz bar welcome opposition fans so pop into one for a pre-match numbing of the brain cells...you are going to be watching Crawley...enjoy the day and remember. Leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but photographs....never the points!
Harry, play with a striker for gawds sake!

Win National League at a canter,No surprise there, the highlight of most grimsby fans' week is kicking off with a Morecambe or Accrington fan. Backwards place.
Win National League at a canter,
In play offs places in League 2,
FA Cup Quarter Finalist last year,
First ever visit to Wembley coming up,
It’ll likely make no difference as Swindon will win easily regardless but just seen Vales team selection today and truly baffled by it. Whitfield not even on the bench??? Very strange.
And also Montano seems to keep getting picked despite the fact he is complete garbage.
How predictable was that?
