Tbh I’ve never known in advance that it was the officials last game. Did the programme mention it? Not brought one for about 25 years.

That’s probably why you have never seen it before or since.

I must admit it’s easier to remember the awful refs as opposed to the quality ones. We had one a few weeks ago and I thought he was excellent. No idea his name, not interested either.

It was 2010 (I think) and yes it was mentioned in the programme. I didn't buy one but word got round and I think it had been mentioned in the build-up to the game. The reason was because he was so highly thought of. I can't think of any refs at the moment who would get the same reaction.

Our game on Easter Monday was refereed by Matt Rhead and he got a round of applause from the Lincoln fans at the end.

I'm sorry, that would be believable until I realised that there's no way the fat c*** would be able to keep up with play.

18 year old striker Scott Twine makes his home debut tonight. Scored loads for the youth side, big step up for him.

:ffs: well it's certainly been an entertaining season or another for us stags.

Someone on stagsnet, who is normally quite reliable for info, reckons if we lose tonight then flip flop will be flipping and flipping elsewhere. John Dempster and Jamie McGuire would then take temporary charge. Whether we lose and this happens is another matter.

We've won nothing since he's taken charge, so far. A few draws is currently his biggest achievement do far!

Wouldn't bother me in the slightest. On his showing so far would anyone want him here next season? Might as well have a change of manager so we have a chance vs. Chesterfield on Saturday.

Fuck the useless c*** off.

If radford didn't put something about finishing outside the playoffs this season in his contract he's a fool

He's fucking useless, he's offered nothing at all, literally nothing. Says we had a good game on Saturday when you lose 4-3 to a side like crewe

Since Flitcroft joined we have been the worst team in the entire league, we were automatic contenders beforehand. Incredible turnaround.

Chesterfield fans, I know it’s hard to see but you could easily beat Mansfield next week.

Praying we can turn tonight round mind.

I didn't want him in the first place!!!! As I said on here
You did indeed mate. Usually you could say sour grapes by Swindon lot but you could tell it was genuine relief.
Amazing collapse, reminiscent of our own Jim Gannon who came with us 3rd and lasted about 12 games , we finished 11th

If they lose tonight surely it won’t matter?

I was very sceptical when he was announced, although obviously gave him the benefit of the doubt.

He literally had Swindon in the play-offs just behind Mansfield despite being shite though, bizarre.

Weirdly, Chesterfield's fate will still be in their own hands despite a third damaging loss to a third relegation rival in three successive weeks so it's still all to play for against Mansfield irrespective of both teams results tonight...

Chesterfield still have to play Forest Green and Barnet too...

There isn't a game down here as combustible as Mansfield and Chesterfield, given the recent form of both, and what's at stake, it's going to be interesting to say the least.
