Oh btw, we woz robbed today! Accy's no 10 clearly shoved Taft in the back before slotting the ball home. So disappointed the ref didn't disallow the goal as I don't think they even had a single attempt on target prior to this. Deserved a draw IMO.

Today was an example of League Two at its worst. Comfortably tops last year's 0-0 draw with Newport as the worst game of football I have ever had the mispleasure of watching. Utterly shit.

1-0 win at Yeovil, 3 wins this week and now 6 points from 7th. Surely not? All 3 teams were down the bottom though so definitely not getting carried away, Grimsby up next is a decent chance to make it 4 from 4 mind.

Some very surprising results, especially Morecambe at Wycombe, and there's plenty to play for at the top and bottom.

Just watched Barnet dispatch Colchester ,we played like the home team. Colchester were beyond awful I have not seen a home team that poor for many seasons. Bees fully deserved the win.

Barnet still looked like a team bottom of the league though, we were just worse. Woeful from both teams.

We were utterly woeful, King Cowley rightly livid. By far the worst performance during his tenure. Whilst we've been beaten we've always put in 110% effort and commitment, today just accepted it. Central midfield went missing.

Big up Crewe who took advantage of this and played well, just like they did in the first half in the reverse fixture.

dedwardp the team you were watching is not the team that got us to the bottom. We are playing with confidence and today played more football, were not panicking on the ball and although not pretty at times showed more desire. We stole the ball every opportunity. A good away performance but col u were very bad I guess we were lucky that you had such an off day

In all honesty if that was much better then you're in a worse position than I thought. It was a completely horrific game of football between two sides who wouldn't have looked out of place a couple of leagues below. Both teams gifting possession back constantly, passing the ball off the pitch, missing basic first touches. Utter, utter rubbish. You would see better games on a Sunday morning down the local park between blokes nursing hangovers.

League Two at its absolute worst.

Good luck to you though, for what it's worth. I'd rather Barnet survived than some northern outpost like Morecambe.

We've had a handful of really poor performance under Cowley since he's been here but we've always still shown a bit of fight even if we ended up losing. Today, we had a really poor performance coupled with throwing the towel in very easily and quickly and having no fight in us at all.

Our home record is very good - today was only our 3rd defeat in 50 odd games - but the manner of it was the most disappointing aspect.

Very unusual for us to lose back to back games as well.

Shocking 2nd half but first half was ok (no more, no less) and 1-0 would have been a reasonable HT score.

Poor discipline (lost count of number of free kicks giving away possession). lost too many second balls and absolutely no creativity in attack were our downfall

"City til I die" ringing out for the last 25 minutes when 4-1 down at home is not something I've heard EVER at the Bank- every cloud has a silver lining.

Credit to Crewe though- strong team who took their chances well and scored a cracking free kick for their first goal. Sometimes easy to look at what we didn't do and not credit the opposing team for playing well.

I mean, take it from someone who is the most negative person in the world when it comes to Barnet FC - if you think we were that bad today then I'd wager it's fuelled by some weird kind of bitterness OR you've been hoodwinked by Westley's atrocious brand of football. We looked much hungrier today and were happy to compete for every ball, loose or otherwise.

We'll still go down but it was encouraging for once to pay for a match that doesn't involve some form of capitulation.

This kind of result has been on the cards for a few weeks because I cannot remember a league game lately where we have played well. We seem a side that has really lost its way of playing with little method and that's a very un DC team out there at the moment. The midfield again was non existent and the loss of Raggett is starting to look very problematic at the moment.

We need to somehow get back to what we are good at and DC doesn't seem to know his best XI at the moment. We will be well short of any play off push if we carry on playing this badly for much longer.

But didn't Impish say something along the lines of Lincoln would DEFINITELY finish top 3?

Maybe I just read it wrong....

Surprised how poor Lincoln were yesterday. For such a formidable side who have made Sincil Bank a fortress since the Cowley's took over, I can't believe how we seemed to beat them with relevant ease. Very one-dimensional style of play and they're the only side I've seen other than us who can't execute a simple kick off properly. I can see why they're dangerous, their movement from free kicks causes huge problems for sides, especially sides with woeful defensive records, and that's why they're so high up the league because they capitalise upon the oppositions disorganisation in those positions far too efficiently usually.

Very pleased with us for playing it on the deck and not playing it into Lincoln's hands, the work rate of all our players more than matched Lincoln and stellar performances from Bowery, Miller, Green, Pickering and Ng coupled with solid defensive work meant we were great value for the win. Also great to come back from 1-0 down and get a result, something we haven't done for a very long time!

Forest Green at home is huge next week and we need to stop losing every following game after a positive result, if we beat FGR we can start looking up the league table. People are saying low 40s is enough to survive but I vehemently disagree. I want us to hit 50 points asap to be absolutely sure of survival because we saw what Newport did when they looked dead and buried last March...

As I and others have said, one person doesn't mean we all felt/feel the same. I would hazard a guess that most Imps on here are quite realistic towards how things are.

The home loss and generally woeful performance wasn't the most embarrassing thing that happened at Huish Park yesterday, it was this banner which someone put up on the closed away terrace. As it was locked up fans couldn't get in there so who did it?

I know, I didn't say that you did, that's why I stated Impish on my post.

Nice easy 1-0 win yesterday and we could of had more and for us to do the double over a team 2 seasons in a row is unheard of.

I feel sorry for Yeovil because sinking so low as to having someone like us as a bogey team means things must be really depressing down there.

Not only that but he said they would probably win the league by the end of March.

So where is the little twat now?

Lincoln maybe wouldn't be so shit at home if they stopped playing that fucking air raid horn after their corners, so embarassing like and that feature just has Non-league minnows written all over it.

A football stadium/ground should never have more than 4 stands.... ever .... but I like the airraid siren , it’s unique.
Always have, always will
