From just looking at pictures of Smurf you can tell he's one of them arrogant, ignorant pompous c*** that would smirk as the lift door closes before you can make it, and would then wait for you at the bottom to argue with you before storming off as an emotional wreck because you owned him, before again clashing in the car park as you refuse to let him out in front of you, so he tails you for 50 miles up the motorway shouting and gesturing, in the wrong direction from his house and ends up having to call out the AA because the dumb fuck ran out of petrol.

Dumb fuck but loaded so maybe not that dumb ? Could you be the AA guy that goes out to help him ?

You couldn't make this up. Our striker playing at centre back Arquin goes off injured after 10 mins so a reshuffle sees the right back go to centre back, the right winger go to right back and a striker come on at right midfield. We're doomed.

Wow. I really wasn't expecting a win given our utterly bizarre starting XI. It was the worst starting back four since we entered the league but luckily there was an enforced change and we held on. Big, big 3 points.

It's *very* Notts County to be cut adrift at the bottom again by a team that started one of our former strikers at centre back today.

Looks bleak for us now. Anything less than three points next week and we are gone I think. Six points from Notts away and Mansfield and Yeovil home minimum.

I’ll never forget the faces of the Chesterfield fans after our win last year as we walked past them.
They looked broken, it tempered my jubilation, I said to my brother, that’ll be us next year.
When Notts beat us next week, that will be us.
We’ll finish bottom, there is literally nothing in us, we played our best 11 today, in the formation everyone’s being screaming for, and?
We did nowt.
A disallowed goal, and a long range shot.
I should’ve done the gardening instead.

Probably the biggest game in our history next week. It literally is all or nothing.

We've had five straight games against some of the best teams in the division and seven points is a decent return from that. It just goes to show how much of a hole we've dug ourselves into that we're still well adrift at the end of it.

Well, it's almost as you were for a lot of the bottom eight a week on. Starting from the bottom, back to back defeats have really checked Notts County's survival bid. Huge game next week at home to Port Vale, bordering on a must win there. Macclesfield are picking up points, but is it enough? They are slowly closing the gap, but need wins. Tough next 3 for them.

The Vale's situation is getting more and more critical. Can't buy a win or a goal at the moment. Still enough games left, but is the quality there to save themselves? Yeovil get a big win at home to Cambridge, is the takeover the boost they need to pull themselves away from danger? Or did they just rely on Cambridge's woeful away form? Another big game against Morecambe next up for them.

Morecambe have 6 points from the last 9, no shame in losing to Lincoln. Feel they need a result against Yeovil next week mind. Cambridge's away form is keeping them in the mix, anything against Grimsby next week is a bonus right? Bet they can't wait for those back to back home games. Crawley also keep hanging around, a draw with Macc doesn't do much to convince me they'll be safe anytime soon.

Still looks like 2 from 5, but I wouldn't totally discount either Cambridge or Crawley yet, need a win or 2 before they can consider themselves safe I think.

If our home form goes tits up we're in real trouble, we aren't getting shit away from home. Can't wait to get rid of these wasters either way.

We've blown our chance to get away from the bottom two by repeatedly throwing leads away.

It will cost us.

I honestly think if we lose to Vale we go down, the gap to the rest will just be too big , a draw prolongs the agony.
Just have to win, where the goals come from us anyone's guess.
if you can't beat us you deserve to go down. We have 4 points out of the last 21, and 2 goals in the last 7 games.

It’ll end 0-0 and pretty much help neither side.

Must win for us, certainly must not lose for Vale. I read Oyeleke is injured again? Should be a decent gate in given the magnitude of the game - would like to think we can edge it 1-0 or 2-1.

Seems like notts were looking good after their standard 1 win in 15 against us last week, yet all of a sudden the table does strange things like put them back to where they started with less games to play.

Port vale will be an interesting one with a Nottinghamshire double with a trip to notts county and then Mansfield at home - hoping for a good 1500 or so heading across there

Limped off but wasn’t fit enough to come back. Not sure if it was same issue or a dead leg from impact.

Depends how ruthless you are, we’ve not really conceded many chances but when we have they’ve been in the back of the net. Again today Cheltenham two shots on target 1 goal, Tranmere 2 on target 2 goals etc.

Judging by some suggestions on social media you might not get to see the full 90 minutes of that game completed.

Can’t see us winning another game this season. Players have zero confidence and, debatably, zero ability.

We can’t defend, we can’t attack and we have no midfield.

I genuinely cannot believe this is happening. I half expected Askey to come in and pick up a few wins in his first few games especially looking at the fixtures we had but he’s just taken over from where Aspin left us.

Everything about us is rotten and it’s all thanks to sex man Gorman and his asset stripping. Fuck off, Gorm! Fuck right off!

You've really bought into this haven't you? Would you like a part in the film? Maybe you could be the disgruntled parking attendant?

It was so descriptive so much effort how couldn’t I ? Who’s playing the deluded dumb but very wealthy businessman and owner ?

Last week was surprisingly very easy , the next two opponents sadly less so

Where do we go from here Dave? Focus seems to be shifting we take relegation but Norman has to go at whatever cost? Pitch sit in against Mansfield popping up as a suggestion.

A defeat next week and think things will go very sour to be honest.

Im starting to think relegation might be acceptable if it got rid of the current owner. Relegation with the current owner would just see us in a fourth relegation battle.
