It's pretty telling that Notts have been silent since the news broke and their hasn't been swift reassurance. Doesn't fill me with confidence that things aren't as bad as feared.

Don't get me wrong when we go down i'll be devastated but at the moment following us is a chore.
I went Cheltenham on Saturday, just numb to it all, can't be arsed to clap or boo . Just walked off thinking have i just actually given up my Saturday for that. No anger , just an apathetic humour that hopefully the next game we might have 2 goal attempts rather than one.

That said i'll be on the 9-45 train because you can't beat a day on the piss in Nottingham

Yep, clearly just an oversight that little detail was left out. This should really be beneath the dignity of any club to come out with garbage like this but it is Norman Smurthwaites Port Vale we are talking about. As if the club wasn't enough of a laughing stock already.

The following has been sent to members of Hardy's golf club. No similar reassurance for Notts fans or (more importantly) the employees of Paragon who presumably are due to be paid on Thursday. Something definitely afoot. The only way I see this turning out to be good for the club is if the takeover is at an advanced stage and potential owners are still willing to go through with it.
