Schofield on the bench today. Surprised me as by all accounts he is a quality keeper. Maybe hasn't bedded in yet

Gladwin made club captain and starts for the first time. Gordon also starts at right back.

When Jenks was subbed off last week holes started appearing in midfield. I didn't rate him highly but maybe he is one of those that you notice more by his absence.

I'm following from sunny Spain but only by text as the sangria is flowing.

Walsall have some units looking at them pre match. Team of giants. Looks like we have gone to a back 3 to match their formation.

This George Lloyd we have on loan is some fucking player. Goal and assist on debut so far and we’re playing some really great stuff here.

Tranmere get a penalty after the ref ignores an offside flag. Absolutely fuming. They've offered nothing all half.

Don't be silly, we only got him on loan because we didn't splash the cash for Vernam, Dallas, Bogle, and Danny North he can't be that good!

0-0 at HT away at Colchester. We must have had about 7 corners and most of the ball - but they've hit the post.
Debutants Feely and Garner impressing and Feely has a throw that out does Ben Tozer....

Disastrous first half from Stags, tactically completely wrong so we have in effect nobody in the middle and Bradford are picking everything up, ten minutes in Louis Reed is off injured, twenty minutes in Rhys Oates is off injured and thirty minutes in Callum Johnson also off injured.

Cook obviously scoring, good header criminally not defended against, Mansfield forced one superb save from Bradford GK and that’s it. Fortunately only 1-0 down.

We're destroying this league, but I can see nothing but a Harrogate win.

Blah blah blah..

Harrogate at home.

Confidence should be sky high after Tuesday nights second half. I think we’ll win this game, but this is Harrogate so it won’t be straight forward. We’ll probably have to come from behind.

Carlisle United 3-2 Harrogate

Well thanks very much Nostragregory, the minute you predict us to win we are destined to lose and we just have.

This is what happens when you get too positive about us, you should know better being a Carlisle fan mate.

drew 1-1 at Colchester after a Ben Whitfield header gave us the lead.
Farman saved a pen after Akinde conned the ref, but Appiah scrambled a 95th min equaliser from a corner.

Imagine letting yer centre half sprint through the defence from his own half to absolutely hammer one in. Fucking gerrin

Better team for most of the game but we totally bottled it again, this team haven’t got it in them to go up unfortunately. Hopefully we can build in the summer and go again at least it won’t need a total reset this time of 20+ new players.

Pain in the arse to concede that late, but at least we didn't lose.

So Clough brought on DJ and swan at half time and went for it, Kilgour hits the bar and a Bradford player does an overhead kick clearance on the line. Mansfield flipped it around and were the better side in the second half comfortably. I actually think if it was not for that superb goal line defending we may have gone on to win due to having no other choice but going for it with four strikers on the pitch.

Referee was reluctant to give us anything, definitely felt like he was swayed by the home crowd, bit silly at times but nothing to affect the game really.

Dodds seems like a hell of a find, either in CB or RB which he switched to once Sterry came off he looked very comfortable and has all the attributes needed to be very competent at this level

Need an urgent Stewards Enquiry at Carlisle like, whopped all the bottom feeders in recent weeks only to surrender to a Harrogate team who couldn’t buy a win.

Bogey teams eh... I hope we never have to play Harrogate ever again, and that means promotion.

I mean I can take them being difficult to break down and we huffed and puffed but didn't find a way through but then to lose in that fashion.

Ugh

Usual story at VP. Good performance, don't build on a one goal lead then bottle it in stoppage time.

You can see he's a cracking player and there's loads he will get better at as well.

Them lung bursting runs from deep, pace and strength, well hard to deal with. He's also got a hell of a cross. He could even get better than Sterry given time.

Aside from him we were garbage really but somehow burgled the points. Thought Jennings did alright, Kemp as well. New keeper solid as was Hartley second half. What a pass as well from Umerah to set Dodds on his way, he was all over them when he came on.

Still deep in the clarts, but a big and much needed win

0-0 away at Sutton. Bit frustrating but we didn't really do enough to win the game. Game was a slog really, very scrappy. We probably had the better of the game but we lacked a cutting edge and we never forced their keeper into anything more than routine saves. Fair result on balance.

We were missing 3 of our first choice defence today before Reeves went off injured just before half time. We had a lot of new faces out there so not the worst point in the end, particularly given results elsewhere

That was pretty boring today at Sixers. Walsall came for a point and got it, as early as 5 minutes in Monthe was taking an age over a throw in and that carried on throughout. Got a bit spicy at times but on the whole pretty poor and a lack of quality.

The injury to Moxon is worse than the defeat.

Losing a six pointer is never good.

Did see Gills had 22 shots to our 7. I just feel we are too lightweight up top and playing with two attackers out wide leaves Telford very isolated.
