Beat Crawley 1-0 in a not very entertaining game, every bugger else won as well though so 10 points from 12 isn’t good enough to pull us out of the bottom two. Shows how far behind we were and thank fuck Brad bought us when he did.

Crawley seemed quite happy to just tap the ball around on the halfway line and try to get free kicks than actually pressing our goal and equalising, never seen a team with much less urgency than them.

Well thanks very much Nostragregory, the minute you predict us to win we are destined to lose and we just have.

This is what happens when you get too positive about us, you should know better being a Carlisle fan mate.

Yup, my bad. I should have known better. I even said the other day with Carlisle United whenever things go well there’ll always a big kick in the bollocks just around the corner.

Needless to say I won’t be predicting us to win our next game, particularly with Moxon out.

You can see he's a cracking player and there's loads he will get better at as well.

Them lung bursting runs from deep, pace and strength, well hard to deal with. He's also got a hell of a cross. He could even get better than Sterry given time.

Aside from him we were garbage really but somehow burgled the points. Thought Jennings did alright, Kemp as well. New keeper solid as was Hartley second half. What a pass as well from Umerah to set Dodds on his way, he was all over them when he came on.

Still deep in the clarts, but a big and much needed win
Yeah it was a poor game again to be honest.

I know it’s only one game but that GK is levels above Killip, came and collected crosses and brought a bit of stability to the back line.

Dodds is shit hot, and Kemp looked a very tidy little player on the ball, just looked shattered after about 60 minutes. The rest not great but did a job.

Jennings needs to play in a a front two or three, he looked lost up top on his own first half, he battled well but didn’t offer much

This inability to kill games off that we’ve largely controlled only to concede in the last minute is beyond ridiculous now, how many times has it happened this season? As above, it’s the reason we won’t challenge any of the promotion sides.

It look bad? I saw he was limping a bit
Right after that bit where he ran to our left side near the corner flag and tried to pirouette on the ball and got clattered, he started rubbing his thigh. He then tried to play on for a bit but was limping so came off. Then at the end it was all strapped up with an ice pack.

It didn’t look good to me at all.

I dunno, I thought he pressed well, got stuck in on occasion, linked the play nicely and set Finney in on goal with a great bit vision, other than that yep agree he's no lone striker, probably might find a role just behind Umerah

Considering we had more players out than we first thought and the opponents we were playing rely heavily on gamesmenship to get themselves through games, that was a massive win for us, not pretty but one of those wins you need to dig deep to get at this time of year.

The big turning point was Ethen Chisletts miss - the best chance of the game, he had more time than he thought and skied his one on one. A few minutes later George Moncur finally came back to the party to score a very well taken winner, afterwards we had to defend well and had a bit of luck in places but we got over the line which now is all that matters.

Very little in the game but Wimbledon probably had the better chances and will feel a bit hard done by not to get anything, having said that the way they play with constant gamesmenship at some point will catch up to you and in the later stages they got a bit of a taste of their own medicine, because we can be shithouses ourselves when we want to be.

As a side note - we set a new club record: 9 home games in a row without conceding a goal.

Absolutely buzzing with the equaliser at the death, full reward for a dominant 2nd half display

To get the point in spite of the ref was an added bonus who must have been devastated bradford didn’t win with his performance.

Thought bradford looked like what we did, a side with plenty of potential without actually showing it. Bit pissed so will have a few beers

Yeah I can imagine he might link up well once Umerah is back in the line up, bit of experience up there as well instead of Hamilton who’s entire game is winning flick ons to nobody

Shocking first half great second, very much worthy of a point that’s for sure. Considering we lost three players in the first half, including Oates who was jeered and booed while clearly in loads of pain!

Deserved to win today for my money. Good game but we were better over the whole game IMO.

Very weird game where we were awarded a very strange penalty where the linesman flagged for offside, half the players stopped and half carried on, yet the ref played on and gave the subsequent foul in the box. We did however return the favour by gifting two goals through messing around at the back. Great to watch a fourth tier league game in a pretty much full ground, and all the best to Stockport for the rest of the season. Please stick a roof on the Railway End and we'll all be friends for life...

I thought the ref got it right IMO. Our lad played for the ball and played it through meaning he couldn't be offside. Some of our players did stop and it is unfortunate but referee decision overrides any Lino flag. We should have been more switched on. We panicked really hence Wright hacking your striker down.

Plans in place to build a new Pop side (stand with a block of your fans) and Railway End, so hopefully shouldn't be too long.

Good luck to Tranmere too.

Great game at Stade d'Edgeley today, neutrals would have loved it. Don't think Tranmere offered much up front, like the previous fixture at their place; but the difference between this and that 0-0 was their defence kept having brainfarts. Shocking header back to let Wootton steal the header for our second, Olaofe pickpocketing both the defender and keeper for our third. Would have been a travesty if they'd have to equalised, County were excellent today, nobody was below a 7/10

Game of 2 halves at preistfield crawley could have and should have Neen a couple of goals up at half time, luckily for us that wasn't the case.

2nd half we came flying out at them and scored, then was pretty much total dominance for the rest of the game, fir a team chasing the game crawley really didn't look like threatening.

Another big win 10 points from 12 thing definitely looking up at priestfield

That was pretty boring today at Sixers. Walsall came for a point and got it, as early as 5 minutes in Monthe was taking an age over a throw in and that carried on throughout. Got a bit spicy at times but on the whole pretty poor and a lack of quality.
Woeful mate poor advert for pro football today.

Absolutely deflated. Feel that could be the moment that unravels our season now. Midfield will have to be disrupted, defence will no doubt be disrupted.

We do indeed have nothing up front as you say, we've earned most of our points this season through being solid at the back, yet Cogley at right back had an uncharacteristic shocker and our keeper is inexperienced to the point of naiveite. Wouldn't be surprised if we resort to 41 year old Joe Murphy in goal for Tuesday.

County passed the ball a lot better than us, especially in the first half, and deserved the win. Decent advert for league two football though - Hinchliffe with a big save at the end, or we'd have stolen an undeserved point. I have a mate who's a County fan, and I've been in the Cheadle end several times when we've not had a game. You forget how much of a let down the bloody Railway End is by contrast!

That’s now 3 defeats in 9.

If anyone thinks I’m setting foot in the promotion thread on that form you can think again.

This run comes after only 3 defeats in our first 20 games. We had a good start to the season but as is the case with any good start for Carlisle United the wheels start to fall off.

Crewe couldn't cope with McAtee's aggression and young George Lloyd's speed and tenacity. They were very one dimensional with lumping high balls forward, never seen such a poor Crewe side. We completely outplayed them in every department, that doesn't happen very often.

Crewe is a great away day and even better when they play as badly as they did.

Great showing from us, hopefully more to build on now

Disappointed not to win - always disappointing to concede in injury time. Thought it was a good game though between two good sides with a good atmosphere.

Ref was good today as was the one Stockport. Makes a change from the usual shite
Agreed, Mansfield seemed to feel hard done by but when you’re kicking lumps out of players who are trying to counter he’s going to give free kicks. The guy made a shocking call giving a goal kick when it was a corner, or that’s how it looked anyway. But other than that he didn’t make any sort of puzzling costly decisions to either side. They want to rewatch our game against Rochdale and Swindon if they want to see some truly awful officiating.

As frustrating as the result is I’m glad we can’t blame it on the ref, as it gets tiresome and I’m sick of saying it myself. Mansfield played well second half and I expect them to be top 7, but we should have been out of sight. Sadly we aren’t good enough to do that. Our fitness levels are appalling. We have the best first half record in the league by far and one of the worst second half’s, says it all.
