The only way is Crawley.

Mark Wright played for us in the conference. He was a decent left back. He has been training with us for a while and played in a friendly v QPR U23s.

I cant see him displacing the two left backs we have but we had to play a centre back there on Saturday so we might see him v Bradford on Tuesday.

You are more than welcome to his brother. The shithouse brylcreemed fairy can’t get anywhere near our side.

Of course its a publicity stunt.

Crawley Town and Mark Wright get their name across the newspapers. You never know, it might drum up a little extra support for the man and the club.

He had the talent to play league football when he was here before but, by his own admission, he didn't have the application. I doubt he would be able to get back to where he was but I dont know because I haven't seen him. Our coaches have and they have gone along with this.

I thought you lot liked Josh ?

Seem to remember Orient fans posting he was good ... but I'm not going looking for the postings.

Absolutely astounded that Crawley have signed Mark Wright, haven't seen him since he was manager of Chester and that was over a decade ago!

He is a luxury* player. Loves pinging the ball 50 yards. Not so keen on running, heading or tackling.

*Luxury in the sense that you can bring him on at 4-0 up and he’s not quite bad enough to lose you the game.

We had him on loan as a 17 year old in League Two and he completely bossed it. There were rumours of Premier League interest too.

Never kicked on from there, probably got distracted with how close he was to the TOWIE crowd.

Whoever it was first coined the phrase life is unfair got it spot on. A classless player like Mark Wright gets a gig at a L2 club while the bona fide star that is Rakish can only get himself a contract at a National South part time*
side.

*I'm guessing here. Are clubs in the second tier of the National League full time or part time?

So it seems Liam Kitching is refusing to play with an impending move to Barnsley on the cards.

Couldn't begrudge him a move like that but you'd hope he'd get better advice from his agent and play games for us while he's still under contract here. We could have done with him last night.

Yes it seems very unsavoury.
We don't know the full facts but not being in the last two match squads and manager Cooper saying it is up to him if he wants to play is bizarre.
If Kitching does desperately want away then Cooper has done the right thing by dropping him from the 1st squad. A rebellious nature could affect the whole team.
He has done well for FGR and if/when he departs I wish him well.

Rumours of Dion Donohue joining Bolton after his rapid and mysterious departure from us today. Signed contract 25 Sept, torn up today.
Dion Donahue training with us....in on trial....................will not have to be up to much to be better than what we have got

He’s well good enough. Reason he gave for leaving is his sister’s child has a terminal illness and he wants to be near for as long as possible.

Some crazy rumours that Nile Ranger could be about to sign for the club (again)

Thought he’d been turning out for some obscure non league club.

Think Ranger was at Swindon for a bit, don't think it went too well?

According to Pete O'Rourke on twitter we've agreed a fee with Barnsley for Liam Kitching.

Shame that he's refused to play during negotiations but good luck to him in any case. Can't stand in the way of someone moving to a big club like that. Following in the footsteps of Ethan Pinnock who we sold to them a few years back and has done well for himself since.

We're also rumoured to be interested in midfielder Matty Willock of Gillingham. Played for Crawley for a bit I think?

Matty Willock did indeed play for Crawley last season on loan from Manure.

No way he was ever going to make it up there but I thought Gills would be a good level for him. Surprised it hasn't worked for him there...or has it and Evens has just got a bee in his bonnet about something again.

Decent central midfielder.

His brother Joe has been playing for Arsenal and another is in Portugal I believe.

Our podcast suggesting Maynard may make the move in January to Vale. That will solve our defensive issues.

Few words our end Clough wants him off wage bills. Dunno how true, he’s still our best striker although to be fair he doesn’t play our second best striker in Andy Cook either.
