Vassell is precisely the type of striker we’re crying out for. No surprise he’s staying up north though. Would be a great signing for you.

don't think it is him though - Khan has a big tattoo down his left arm - and Khan is far more tanned at present than the guy in the screenshot - looking at his twitter.

wasn't a loanee - we signed him from Bournemouth in January then released him at the end of the season.
I think Michael Jolley signed him because he liked his name (Mikael Ndjolli) as it sounded like his.
I think he played a total of maybe 30 mins for us.

McKirdy is a bit of a ball sack. Has talent but just doesn’t seem to want to use it.

His attitude seemed a lot worse at Vale than it did up here. It was presumed that moving to his home city would be good for him.

In his season here, the whole bad attitude thing was overstated a little bit. He bared his arse at the Dulwich Hamlet fans live on telly but it was all in good spirits, they were taking the piss out of his shorts and I don't think they were offended by him giving them an extra little look when he scored. Other than that, he had spells where he didn't give his all, he took umbrance on a couple of occasions when fans got on his back, and he recieved some abuse on a couple of occasions that he should have had to deal with but all in all not really much worse than we're used to seeing at times.

Talented player but I’m not sorry we got rid of him at the first opportunity with his bad attitude. Maybe the penny will drop with him as he’s probably close to running out of opportunities in the league anyway but I doubt it.

McKirdy has the talent to be one of the best players in this league. Unfortunately his stinking attitude has and will continue to hold him back.

He is the type of player that should be progressing to top end of league 1 minimum over the next few years, but he’ll more than likely end up scratching around in the vanarama north/south leagues by that time.

Never know if he was one of the mentioned issues around the Askey sacking time as rumoured (if he was surely Popey and Leggey would have kicked him about) but will never forget him getting his chance at Stevenage away… Done well in the paint pot to earn a go… Jesus Christ.
