signed a youngster on loan from Leicester, played against us in the pizza thing earlier in the season.... Cooper has been watching him since 2020 when he was FGR manager.

Be unfortunate if that were to happen but end of the day he is your player. Whether there is a end date in the loan agreement as to when you can recall him I genuinely don't know. Think one problem aside from there appears to be somewhat of a frosty relationship between him and Evatt is Politic himself is nursing a groin injury at the moment. That's why he only played 30 minutes against Brentford and DC has said they are going to manage him carefully this week in training.
Darcy is back from a loan stint in Norway Evatt may stick with him as back up. If He recalled Politic it would only to put him on the bench, but it may be needs must

I'd like us to chuck a contract offer in front of Dennis and test the water, if he signs a pre contract agreement and we can sort compo with Bolton everyone is happy.

If he goes I will be disappointed as loads of potential there, the only issue is not really playing a formation to suit him but with Hussey and a potential need to accommodate Gibbons, Worrall and Hussey together that opportunity to tweak the formation may arise.

I honestly dont think its about money with Evatt.....Politic was offered a new contract. It would not have been lucrative coming off 12 months out, Politic has every right to turn that down. Maybe Evatt was looking for a little loyalty after the way the club had looked after him. Katchunga being out means Evatt is a player short and we could recall Politic for no fee and he would not take up a place in the squad [win, win]
I dont see a long term future for Politic but it may be more beneficial to recall him to May then he would be free to sign where ever he wishes. I dont think a nominal fee would swing Evatt thoughts.

You'll know better than me on this but the general vibe I get on Evatt is he is a rather stubborn individual once his mind is set on something. Not necessarily always a bad trait but can sometimes be almost to a fault. From what I gather on Twitter one of your other players Amaechi I think he's called is due back shortly though? I would imagine if he were to be recalled you'd be doing it today to at least give him some time back with your squad before the weekend.

Amaechi broke his foot pre season and was out until Dec played [very well ] against Cheltenham and was on the bench a couple of games......Done his hamstrung now..........Never seen injuries like we have had this season.
Paid big money to get him on loan from Hamburg who in turn cost them £3m from Arsenal.......England u20 player

Evatt is very stubborn would not change the System or Goalie last season despite it being obvious to all it was not working.

Crawley sign Caleb Watts on loan from Southampton. 19yrs old. Played in 3 Premier games and the Aussie 2020 Olympic squad.

All I know is he is a midfielder.

If there are any teams wanting a striker we've just released Kieran Agard.

We seem to have been linked with Agard every window for the past 6 or 7 years!

just seen he has signed for Doncaster. There is always the next window!

Mellon mentioned in his post match interview last night that he was hopeful of having someone in by Saturday. The two rumours at the minute are Kane Hemmings and Nsiala from Ipswich. Would take either at the minute.

Twitter rumour that experienced (and pretty competent, ISTRC) CB Paul Downing may be joining us on loan from Pompey.

Not a rumour as such, but we have not renewed striker Kieran Agard’s contract. Played at a higher level, but injuries have taken their toll. Did a job for us, but fifth or sixth choice. Three goals in 16. My suspicion is that he would do a good job at a league 2 side looking for a steady, hard working good egg that will help the dressing room with his hard work and very positive outlook.
We need one but not sure if he would jump across....

James Waite, ex-Cardiff attacking midfielder who spent the first half of the season with Penybont in the Welsh Premier. Looks slightly built but very quick and a known quantity to James Rowberry who coached him at Cardiff.

I think Nsiala would be a big threat to your good defensive record?!

Kane Hemmings deal confirmed. Undisclosed fee, 2.5 year deal. Scored 15 goals in League 1 last season.

Kane’s a good player and very likeable, works really hard and leads the line well. I think his goalscoring record is fleshed out a lot by penalties (certainly was here) because he never seemed a great finisher or poacher, but he’ll get 10-15 a season and do a lot of other good stuff.

Pretty much what I’ve said, it’s a good signing at L2 100%. Tranmere spending the dosh again!

Huddersfield have recalled Romoney Crichlow which is a massive blow. I guess that's the risk getting your first choice RB and CBs on loan from clubs much higher up the pyramid that if they start the season well they get recalled - rumour is he is going to a promotion chasing club in League 1. I wish him well.
