The rumours did have some truth to them then happy enough with this signing

Hope it works out for him. Apparently we'd discussed a new contract with him at some point which is strange with 18 months remaining on this deal. Flattered to deceive a lot at Vale. Will do stuff which makes you scratch your head why he isn't playing higher and almost straight after do the kind of things you'd expect from a pub league player. It might be because DC likes doing intricate tactical changes etc and he just doesn't have the football brain to do it, simplify the game for him and you might see the best of him.

Yeah just hasn’t progressed at all from last season and for me he is more of a wide man which in turn doesn’t fit our 3-5-2 system.

Wish him luck, did well last season but nowhere near it this season.

The system that the team plays suits me.

sounds like he didnt fit in your formation this is one of his comments tonight.

Tranmere have signed a keeper on a 6 month deal and loaned him out until the end of the season to the club he has signed from. Me neither if you don't get that one.

No we don’t play with wide men as such we play wing backs and he isn’t really quite as good as a striker down the middle for me.

Reports that we have apparently agreed a deal with Joe White on loan till end of the season from the Geordies.

In March 2016, Dale won 3-2 at Boundary Park. Sheridan was Latics manager. A lad called Amari Holloway scored the two Oldham goals. Amari has just signed for Barrow on loan.

If John Sheridan had any sort of backing from your owner, I'd have thought someone like Amari Holloway would have been signed by now.

Sadly, I think you're being managed to relegation (by your owner).
Hard to disagree. The embargo we’re under is debilitating but even within that we’re showing no intent. Releasing Dearnley yesterday was surely to make way for a striker but that doesn’t seem to be the case. A couple of signings on the back of the Shez news would have given everyone a bit of hope at least.

Maybe doing them a favour, could mean they no longer have to pay his wages.

Part time club Bamber Bridge Tier 7. Probably not on much anyway before. Maybe there's an option for another year.

Alex Kenyon has left by mutual consent.

Another one of our big summer signings gone.

Should make way for hopefully Anthony Grant and Joe Nuttall.

Swindon want Simpson back on loan providing the contract issue is resolved before the window closes.

Barry & Simpson would make a great forward pairing in League Two without a doubt.

We’re trialling HIGHLY RATED Ramello Mitchell at Southampton. A left sided forward apparently and has recently been on trial with Bristol City. Not clear if this is a view to a loan or a permanent deal.

Also, it appears that Zanzala is out for the season. Gutted for him as I liked the look of him on his debut.

Taylor is on the lookout for a centre forward with league experience but it’s going to be very hard to pull that off, this late in the window.

Why did it not work out with Barry BTW? Just not suit the way you play?

Squad depth ultimately, as an attacking unit we are overloaded with players. He was just too far down the pecking order for us so both Villa and ourselves agreed to terminate the loan.

Going to be very interested if this “injury” he’s had suddenly clears up and you name him in the team tomorrow. There’s probably a little truth to what he’s saying to be fair if you stick him on the left of the three.

Can well imagine why DC became increasingly less sold on him though. He wants players who can adapt to different ways of playing and Rodney just hasn’t got that in him.

Newport fans, what was Brandon Cooper like? Rumours we're signing him on loan from Swansea.
He’s way too good for league 2. The loss of Cooper & Twine in January last season were key factors in County fading badly from top of the league last year ( as well as playing on a turnip patch).

Cant play tommorow so i am told but will be available next week is it true you offered him a new deal? seems strange when he had 18 months left on his current one i think someone is telling porkies there lol.

Dearnley took his goals well in our Pizza Cup game, though see he’s not scored in the league this season. Might as well keep him if he’s not being relaxed, he didn’t look that bad?

Only just seen about Bogle to Hartlepool, I hope he does well there but worryingly it seems that the fans of pretty much every club he’s been at since he left us absolutely hate him.

I'm just glad we've signed him simply on the fact we now have a Bogle and an Ogle in the squad.

He’s a good player - was the best finisher at the club my a mile. Unfortunately he’s made of biscuits and very rarely fit. But yes, unless we planned on replacing him there’s no logic to letting him go… but then the Lemsagams don’t tend to deal in logic

I imagine it was all a ploy to push the figure up, probably including the league one interest!

Pools being linked with midfielder Joe White from the Mags, featured a few times on the bench for them this season, England youth international, clearly has the ***highly rated*** tag.

Confirmed now, loan till the end of the season.

Brandon Cooper was outstanding for us, bar one game when he handed Oldham two goals. Not only his own performances but in improving players around him. Liam Shephard was never the same at RB without Cooper alongside him.
