This is the thing mate if he was he wouldnt be in league 2 he scored 9 and assisted 10 for Cardiff and got player of the season just 2 years ago.Half of that player would walk this division be interesting to see if he still has it if he has it could be a great signing all Walsall fans wish DC all the best as well must be something unthinkable thats happened for him not to be coming back in the near future my heart goes out to him whatever it is.

Absolutely. This will be a huge thing also for Devante Rodney getting a quality player up there with him. You don't get to have the record Tomlin does at that level without a footballing brain so if Rodders can't learn off him he won't off anyone.

Yeah just horrible for him really. Been great to see the way all his former clubs and others as well rallied round to support him though. Also fair play to all the Walsall fans who quickly slapped down the small number of trolls when it first happened just to say, much respect for that.

We've signed David Wheater. Been training with us while recovering from back surgery. Think he still played for Oldham last season. Any Oldham fans, has he gone, or will he still do a job at NLN level?

Crawley have signed Ronan Silva (no I've never heard of him either). Apparently he impressed with his technical and goal scoring ability while at Biggleswade Town. I hope he does very well while with us.

It seems the loaning out of Sam Matthews and Grego-Cox was purely for fitness reasons. I think I'm meant to say "that's OK then" but it makes me question our fitness department. They can't get players with football league experience up to speed to play but they can do it for a kiddy from the back of beyond!

We’ve signed Ryan Nolan from Getafe on an 18 month deal. Was training with the Getafe first team until he did his ACL a year ago. One for the future it appears.

What a strange career path for an Irish centre back. He is 23 so possibly his last chance in the pro game with you guys.

Isn’t it. Had 3 years at Inter Milan and was about to make his Getafe debut but then got injured so must have something about him. Apparently been very impressive in training too.

You would think he would be technically good as well being educated in Italy and Spain.

We've signed attacking wing back Mandela Egbo who has been training with us for ages. Worked with Garner at Crystal Palace before moving to Borussia Moenchengladbach for 4 years and then played for New York Red Bulls in the MLS.

He joins until the end of the season.

He did well in a successful Gladbach II team (4th tier), but wasn't considered good enough to make the step up to the Budndesliga.

Hearing midfielder Gav Holohan off to Grimsby

Not a surprise, never gets a look in under Lee but was a big part of the promotion season.

His contract is up at the end of this season and personally I wouldn't offer him new terms, I don't see how he gets in the side now if everyone was fit, he certainly wouldn't feature next season, if he can get a 2 year deal out of someone now and not have to worry about it in the summer then fair play to him, he'd be mad not to, served us well and played a massive part last season, I wish him well, he'll be a good signing for them.

Central midfielder Callum Reilly has joined Solihull Moors on loan for the rest of the season.

He was signed having recovered from a broken leg, came on as sub a few times, then got injured again for 4 months.

Apparently Kenny jackett for some reason then chose to ostricize him from the squad with a few others, then he came on as sub a few more times before again not being included in the squad again after Jackett was sacked.

A total waste of a signing.

Sam Matreturns to Crawley fro a loan spell at Aldershot.

Not sure how it went for him there. Heard a couple of different reports.

Probably back because our injury problems just will not go away !

He probably knows our club better than anyone as he has been our Chief Scout on two occasions for many years.

No idea how he's managed to get back involved as I think Swann got rid of him before

Another sweet talking move to get fans in the ground BD but I’m sure you know that.

Has done great things for us in the past.

Whilst Coolsilk hold the reins they still won’t get a penny of my money.

Just read Turnbull's statement and yeah he's quite clearly just a Swann puppet, nothing will change.

Surprised Crawley are so high on that list. I'm presuming a lot of it was on the sale of Max Watters to Cardiff but it still seems a lot.

I'm not going to criticize signing up those ten at Crawley. There's some good players there but I do question giving a 37 year old centre back a two year deal.

Strangely, we've heard nothing about new contracts for Nadersan and Tunnicliffe. Tunnicliffe has had a rough year with injuries but he was pretty much ever present for the five seasons before that (at other clubs as well). Team of the season last year. Headed for a freebie this !

Is Tom Nichols under contract for next season? I’ve heard he’s been on our radar for a few years. We’ll likely need one striker in the summer at least and wouldn’t be suprised if he was looked at again.

Seeing as you have new owners though we’ll likely have to look elsewhere!

He's not a bad fox in the box type player, but he's very much L2 standard. He doesn't have much else to his game either. To get the best out of him he needs to be playing in a 442 with a bigger strike partner alongside him.

Theres better options out there for cheaper in my opinion. That being said if he were to come back to us I wouldnt mind (although plenty of our fanbase would.)
