Grant has been suggested to National League sides this year and they've said no, I'd be surprised if he's used as anything more than a wrecking ball for Crawley to be honest.

We’ve signed Zain Westbrook who’s been a free agent since January, we have a bit of a midfield crisis with 2 out for the season however I expect him to be shite

Well you won't be disappointed. I was half expecting him to sign for the Hollywood boys at Wrexham hoping they would fix him up with a body double that could actually play football

Westbrook? Ha. We had him on loan an age ago. Imagine a slower, weaker, less competitive Josh Wright.

We're spending our FA Cup money on Lee Gregory according to one Fishy poster. Is that the start of silly season officially open?

Spend it on bringing those temporary stands back. Fill more seats when the feelgood factor is high.

We’ve sold Billy Waters to Wrexham for an undisclosed fee. Didn’t realise National League players could still sign players, and weren’t Wrexham bound by Welsh transfer window rules???

He’s a decent player but not really bothered he’s gone - it’ll be a big fee (for us) and he’s missed many, many big chances for us this season - plus we haven’t got anything to play for now anyway. Similar to when we sold Dior Angus to Wrexham, I expect he’ll play a handful of times and then rot in the reserves.
Looking at how much they spent last season (around £1.2m according to their latest accounts, which is fucking mental for L1 never mind the NL), they've probably overpaid!

Who is you DoF? Anyone with football knowledge?
Guy called Simon Wilson, used to be head of football development at City or whatever daft title they probably used. Before that he was part of ProZone pushing statistical analysis etc.

He basically operates like a kid in a sweetshop with daddy’s credit card.

You managed to spend more than Wrexham, some going that
They’ve spent eye watering transfer fees compared to our summer business being free transfers though.

However that said at least they were going for established league 1 players, we’ve had our pants pulled down by agents managing non league football players.

There’s most probably a reason why he’s not at city any more, looking at your signings over the summer and during January that figure is quite staggering

It's arguably offset by not paying any transfer fees last summer, Wootton, Wright, and Horsfall have been excellent signings and I wouldn't be too upset if we'd spent £250k in transfers for them

He’s certainly improved in that time if the reviews from Walsall fans were accurate. There aren’t many harder-working footballers around and he’s massively improved his finishing this season. Would love to keep him as we won’t find anyone better.

Patrick Brough signing for Wrexham, apparently. Strange one as he’s probably had his poorest season for us.

we were seriously trying to sign Josh Gordon again in January. I believe that when we realized that the DJ deal was likeley to fail we identified Josh as the player to go for. The money wasnt the.issue, it was the fact that Gordon likes playing under Wild and didn’t want to leave. Now that info has come direct from Barrow.
Thats what was said about him mate.

Rumours our end that Matthew Pennington is leaving us for Wrexham. He’s much, much better than League 2. He’s a top half League 1/ bottom half Championship defender. Money talks as per.

Shame he’s joining that lot, Judas. He’ll be sure to get a lovely Salopian welcome when he comes back to face Salop in a seasons time when no doubt Wrexham win the league against all odds. What a fairytale!
