We’ve been linked with Richard Wood now he’s left Rotherham he’s certainly something we’ve missed, a leader on the pitch, played 28 games this season in the championship but he’s 38?

Bryn Morris has been let go today, so I reckon he's nailed on to rock up at yours.
Not sure, he wasn't happy how the move to us fell through before rocking up in South East Humberside.

Darren Pratley just captained Orient to the title and Peter Clarke was in the team of the year the season before at the same age so not necessarily a reason to not sign him.

He was pissed off cos he'd bought a house back home and Pools or Paul Hartley whoever it was didn't fancy it anymore and pulled out the deal.

Askey has already said he wants pace and athleticism in midfield next season, something he's got neither of

I wouldn't offer him owt.

Surprised to see rumours of Pennington and Monthe from other ends to us. CB is probably one position we have plenty of cover in.
Tozer, Hayden, Tunnicliffe, Cleworth, O'Connell, O'connor, Lennon, Butler
I'd imagine Lennon will be let go though
How did Tunnicliffe do for you. Sorry to lose him when his contract ran out.

Decent centre back at this level when he was with Crawley.

Edit: We have lots of players you can have. They'd be a bargain!

Rumour mill has started for us. Patrick Brough from Barrow

Forget it mate, he's another linked with Wrexham.

The rest of us are just going to have to settle with whatever is on the scrap heap.

Sounds like this Patrick Brough's agent has a very active imagination. Nobody had ever heard of him until about 4 days ago.

You're also now linked with Cole Stockton and Connor Ripley who were released by Morecambe.

Basically every good or decent player available no matter what position.

The joys of having money eh.

Can’t see Wrecsam wanting Stockton, he was dire for them when we loaned him, back in the day when neither side had much money.

Couldn't get a game the first few months of the season, got his chance and never looked back really, superb signing

see what the retained list brings but we need three or four defenders, especially with Hewitt doing his ACL.

No idea what to expect in terms of spending this summer, obviously we spend nothing like we did under Evans/Flitcroft now but for the right player I’m sure we will be very competitive still.

We're also linked with May, we'll almost definitely offer him something but I imagine we'll be quite far down the list in terms of what we can offer financially. Not to say we'll offer peanuts, but not Hollywood money. Our pull for May is that he's a local lad, so hopefully that angle appeals to him.

Considering what you offered Oli Hawkins and George Lapslie I find that hard to believe, and it’s not like we paid them peanuts…..

Wrecsam will be interested in every player that is available or after a move according to their agents, it’s only natural but there will be plenty of players available for the rest of us bottom feeders

Will be interesting to see what Wrexham do re: strikers/forwards. Obviously Mullin isn't going anywhere, but I could see them moving Dalby, Palmer and Waters all on. Murmurings at our end that we're in for Waters, which if true, make that an utterly bizarre signing by Wrexham. If they move all three of those on then L1 and L2 clubs need to be locking up their strikers. Luckily, we only have one on our books and he won't be on their radar but the Bradford and Cobblers I bet Cook and Hoskins are on their list.

You think we're financially capable of competing with/beating top end League One clubs, Championship clubs and Wrexham? (I.e. the other clubs who've been linked with Alfie May). If he comes here it won't be a financial decision, but I'm not saying we'll offer peanuts either, that's all I was saying.

Waters has been a strange one, played about 20mins since we brought him in.
Dalby won't be going anywhere, started a lot of games in the last few months of the season and did well in the majority. I can't see Palmer leaving either, he certainly isn't a nailed onstarter anymore but he has his own clothing brand that's doing well, all based off Wrexham so I'd guess he'd hang around just to keep the last going

He started off slow and couldnt get into our team, once he did our form changed dramatically and it was only after the Sheff FA Cup game where he picked up a nasty injury that he rarely featured since

Palmer more likely to leave than Dalby I'd say and if it was a choice I'd rather see Palmer go.

Waters was bizarre but we knew that at the time and it was purely to cover Mullin for 5 games in case anything happened. I think he'll go on loan for the season as nobody will be buying out a 3 year deal from us.

Our fans have been obsessed with signing Cook for years going back to when he was at Barrow. He would be a great strike partner for Mullin, it would be cheating to have those 2 as our strikers.

According to my sauces, Paul Mullin was at the Bolt New Lawn for a medical yesterday. Would be a decent signing although he was playing in a dog and duck league last season so unclear if he’ll be as good at a proper level.

Could be a decent back up for Tyrese Omotoye and Big Dunc’s son.

Plymouth have released Luke Jephcott and we've confirmed we aren't interested despite him being on loan to us last season.

Played correctly, he'll get goals in League 2.

Well it wouldn't suprise me if they're after Owen Moxon too who has been the best midfielder in the league this season.
He's worth at least one million but I'm sure they'll be able to afford him..

More chance of you serving meat than that happening

Cook loves it here but I can see him going to Wrexham. He'll be 33 in October and they can pay significantly more than us. I'm sure they'll just chuck whatever money at him.

Also rumours of Harry Lewis to Stoke, according to a City messageboard. Can't see it myself. A great season but that'd be a big step up.

We've been linked with Cook every window for years, that long it's a bit of a running joke among Wrexham fans now.
Can't see us coming in for him mind

Maybe Joe Ironside for Wrexham? Might as well as he done all Mullin’s donkey work when we got promoted.

He’s most likely going to be released.
