Stockport County.
Best striker I've seen against us last season in the game at Mansfield, proper threat in behind.

Swan scored 10 goals despite only getting game time from the bench and being injured for a decent period, only 22 will definitely play a higher level and a Mansfield lad so its exactly the sort of signing you want to pay a fee for.

It’s a fantastic bit of business, keep him fit next season and that’ll be a massive bonus, despite being top scorers in the league last season the number of chances we missed was astonishing, and we never really had the “fox in the box” forward when he wasn’t about.

Him and akins uptop with keller-dunn behind maybe

Good to see Radford is still investing in us despite the multiple promotion failures over the last few years! Great signing and good intent. We just need to sign a few defenders now

Typical Mansfield, splashing the cash and leaving the rest of us to fight over the scraps!

How on EARTH can they afford to sign a player from Premier League Forest for money AND give him a 3 year deal!?!

I dare say he’s taken a bit of a cut let’s say. We got £150k from the 2 players you signed from us, we’ve signed better than either of those already…. (though i hope they both do well, they’re good lads)

He’s from mansfield, went to school in mansfield and his folks follow mansfield.

Everyone else seems to be spunking so why not?

He only started 12 league games last season, but scored 10 league goals. One of the highest goals per minute in league two.

I honestly thought it was about 8 starts max, still great goal ratio and for the xG lovers he is League Two #1.

Bloke down my local reckons you’ve doubled his wages, but that’s neither here nor there. Always like to see a local town boy following his dreams.

Did he have John Radford PJ’s as a kid?

Tongue out of cheek for one moment, just re-enforces my belief that next year will be one of the strongest League 2s for quite a few years.
Ourselves, the Brat Pack, Mansfield, Bradford, Notts County, Stockport and possibly a few others will not be afraid to spend a few bob.

We certainly are as McCann wouldn’t have taken the job, he wants 8 new players in that will be capable in League One

We only need around 5 players, assuming we don’t get rid of anyone under contract.

Maybe we will try and bring in Riley Harbottle from Forest now too and Pym who is now a free agent, only reason we did not sign last summer was due to Peterborough wanting too much.

I hate saying it, but with a few smart signings/reinforcement in defence while keeping away from the ridiculous injuries we’ve had in this season i reckon we’d have every chance.

Us and Bristol City linked to Al-Hammadi at Wimbledon. Attacking mid? Could he step up right away?

Looks like Barrow are set to unveil Dave Worrall, incredible signing for them and assuming they offered 2 years whereas we wouldn't at his age but still one of the best wingers certainly at League Two level.

Probably lost a step in terms of pace as you rarely see him beat a man now but still got an incredible workrate and is a decent crosser of the ball. Since DC was in charge we’ve shoehorned him into a wingback role and over time he’s become good at it so don’t know how you play but whether it’s winger or wingback he should do a decent job for you still.

We play with wing backs.

Sounds positive. Tore Anthony Glennon a new one the previous season if I remember rightly.

Absolute legend is Wozza. Probably right from our perspective as he'll be another year older but he set up 2 out of 3 of our goals in the playoff final and was probably amongst the best of our lot in league 1. What you will get is a consistent performer who can cross well with both feet and always puts in maximum effort.

Correct, to understand his work rate any fan just needs to watch the third goal in the Play Off final with 5 minutes to go, he runs into a dead end to keep the ball live, swings a foot and delivers a peach into a great area for Sir Mal to fire home. Most just let it run out at 2-0 up and get back into position.

Will miss him, a legend.
