Fairly pissed off, he would’ve suited us well in a position we’re lacking but even at this stage when everything’s agreed he’s still searching for that extra few quid and he’s got it, with that thinking they’re welcome to him.
Honestly, I didn't rate him at all when I saw him play. Just spends his entire time on his arse. And he's an unlikeable arrogant twat. You've dodged a bullet.

First marquee-esque signing of the Galinson era, adds quality in the final third which was our weak point last season.

Good to see us acting like the League One Club we've been for the last decade and out bidding perennial league two clubs for a signing finally. Under Scally we were able to outperform Bradford Park Avenue financially, but not City.

Also good to get a local lad in the squad, doesn't have to uproot his family which (despite suggestions otherwise) does actually matter quite a lot to some people.

Don't mind about his injury history really, he's proven he can contribute to a League Two season so that's enough for me.

Yep. Too much money to be chucking at someone like him.

Acting like a L1 club isn’t by signing L2 players though. Charlton did that last season, too. Ever thought why no L1 club was after him?

'Barely put a foot wrong since joining' but only wanted to offer 1 year?
He’s a 30 year old back up CB who Tranmere didn’t want and our aim is to be in L1 which would be a stretch too far for him.

He kept us solid while Horsfall was out for a couple of months but two years is slightly surprising.

Byrne has been solid. If he left we'd just have had to get another player similar who is happy to be back up. And we'd just wonder why we didn't do more to keep Byrne as he was perfect for the role. Two years seems to be the going rate now unless the player is very old.

Been racking my brain for the past 24 hours for what all these bank puns and jokes regarding Abo Eisa are about. Just realised it's to do with ISAs. Which means I might have been mispronouncing his and Mo's surname wrong all this time. So is it "Eye-sa" or "Ee-sa"? I've always said the latter.

I've always said Eye-sa for Mo, but the commentators and announcers we have seem to change each week.

He’s a right-footed CB. We play a back three and he’s played in every position across that though I wouldn’t fancy him as a RB.

Makes sense sort of because that’s exactly what we are looking for due to Hewitt ACL injury, I assume Clough thought he could play RB if needed too.

Rumours on our messageboard that MK Dons are interested in Sarcevic.

I’d let him go for a small fee and look to replace him with someone younger.

The Yellowboard hit rate is getting less and less to be honest. Some real scatter gun rumours. It's solid for saying things like "signing announced later today" which is more likely to be out there as more people become aware but for anything at board or management level the ITK's have dried up big time.

Stockport should invest some of those Dubai millions into getting a more modern message board. It makes Red Passion look cutting edge and that's saying something.

Interesting one because we are after players with experience and leadership capabilities, but we probably wouldn’t be paying a fee for a 31 year old.

Is he still a winger or is he more of a central player now?

You sure you're not looking at the old one?

There's Marionsboard which nobody posts on (was called Yellowboard and does have a massive Yellow background which makes you think it should be called Yellowboard) that is old as fuck.

But the actual Yellowboard is pretty modern and very busy.

Central. Not quick enough to be a winger. Good player Sarcevic but a bit of an "on his day" type for us. He's probably our best player on the ball with his passing range and vision but a lot of the time you think "I think Sarcevic could have done more today" and he does seem to pick up a couple of medium term injuries a season which reduces his availability (only been here two seasons so maybe that's just bad luck but it's happened both times)

Personally I think we're fine in that area providing nobody else leaves, but he's a player GA knows and as I said, experienced which fits the bill.

I might be misremembering him as a winger though, it's been a while since I've seen him play when he was at Fleetwood/Shrewsbury.

Have a look at the Womble Underground Press. However bad yours is it’s still better than that, and I don’t even need to check yours first

Any club that has one of those those forums that make you click every single reply should be relegated to the National League.
Luton's will always be the worst. Please tell me they have something better these days, they are in the Prem ffs.

Now confirmed he’s signed a contract extension with us.
