Abo Eisa just about to sign for us
Too lightweight for me but signing for a manager who rates him, you won’t get much good feedback from us (granted he was injured for 90% of his two years) but fully expect him to bag one against us.

If that's true I'm surprised he's managed to get another league club. Was very poor here and was always injured. His outing against Carlisle was one of the poorest performances I've seen from a City player in recent years. Maybe he just needs a change of club, I dunno. Seems a really likable kid though so good luck to him.

Officially signed, we’ve given him a year and he’s another one that Hurst has gotten the best out of.

Presume he’s in to be a squad player with the hope it works out, I can live with that

Probably dreamt of playing for Gillingham as a boy. It's fairytale stuff.
I’ve just read the interview he’s done, more or less says it. I suppose nobody is ever going to come out and say it’s saved me money on moving and I’m getting more money but my god them type of interviews do make me laugh.

It's just the same regurgitated crap in every interview. The project, the size of the club, the gaffer sold it to me, my ambitions are the same as the gaffers etc.

Some still lap it up at every club, wait until we finally make another signing…

Does no player dream of playing for Bradford nowadays?

Signed Harvey Davies from Liverpool for the season. Will be our number 1 GK with Tom Booth as No. 2. Going into a season with two 19 year old keepers is bold but they're an improvement on the Richards and Jaaskelainen era thats for sure.

This signing means the long overdue end to Dave Richards' time at the club. I've heard he's had interest from North of the border so quicker we get him off the books, the better. Been here 8 years and has never looked like being our No. 1 GK. Quite ridiculous that Artell gave him a 3 year contract just before he was sacked but to get him out the door will be fantastic.

After his eventual departure, it'll be just Griffiths and Sass-Davies to ship out now from Artell's awful contracts. Club have done well to shift most of them within 12 months, even if paying off Sambou cost us a small fortune. Artell should never be allowed to manage ever again after that ridiculous Sambou clause yet he didn't put the same one in for Agyei...

Terence Vancooten from Stevenage apparently. Superb name, know nothing else but I am sold on that alone.

That'd be disappointing, was still holding out hope that'd he'd re-sign for us. Where has this rumour come from out of interest? Is it meant to be a done deal or is it just a case that you're interested?

For what it's worth, he's a very good centre half for this level, not all that surprised to see him leave (if he does) but had expected it to be to someone in League One. Had hoped with us being promoted that he'd have signed on again. I think you'll be impressed by him if he does join.

Last season played 90% of his matches at the centre of a back three, wasn't one to boot it long, is generally pretty composed on the ball and would like to keep it simple knocking it to one of the wider centre backs who'd typically be the ones to knock it long into the channels.

Most of the time he was pretty composed, but sometimes he could make a rash decision, typically after making a mistake. Seemed so desperate to atone he ended up making things worse. Conceded a couple of penalties last season turning one error into two.

I'd be confident of him making the step up to League One and more than proven at this level, would be a good signing for you.

Not particularly bowled over with the signing of Eisa, but hopefully he's just had a shite time at Bradford and he can recapture his Scunny form. Hursty obviously rates him.

Now to have a big sip of delicious coffee and check the other League Two signings from today, Jonny Williams was about to sign for Bradford when I checked this morning that's surely been finalised now as there isn't a single club in the division daft enough to gazump them on wages...

It was dragging on too long for it to happen.

But typical of us that.

Allowed to call him injury prone now?
Jonny Williams obviously has skill but such a frustrating player, spent too much time falling over and trying to win free kicks. When he really went for it could be a match winner but those times were few and far between. Don't think he would have shined and his best days are over. Gillingham are welcome to him.

Did Bradford put Jonny Williams up in a travel lodge or something?

Williams was all set to sign for Bradford but then he checked the small print and in tiny writing at the bottom it said:

*I agree to play at RB for 7-8 games per season*

And then suddenly the deal was off.

You might as well sign Ryan Loft now and reunite them
