According to the article, our offer was a significant improvement on what you were paying him. And Gillingham have come in and outbid that so he's getting a good increase! And I don't think he was on a pittance at Swindon was he?

Looks like one of the dwarves from Lord of the Rings. Never really takes a game by the scruff of the neck but has moments of quality that’ll set up a chance. Think he had his best scoring season with us. Annoyingly falls over a lot in the hope of getting a free kick. Refs cottoned on to him last season and probably didn’t get some decisions he should have.

I can see why you’re pissed off, I would be too and it’s happened to us the other way round before. Without claiming he’s signed solely for this purpose, he won’t have to move his family.

There were whispers he might be coming back here but a) I think it was laziness from others because he lives in Lincoln and b) he'd be a downgrade on the three 'keepers we've had on loan in L1 anyway so wouldn't make sense.

You'll not get a full season out of him if he's first choice, he's got a persistent thigh issue that reoccurs every season because of his kicking style. He battled through it a bit better in his final season with us and got to about 30 games but didn't even make 20 in his two others seasons.

Quite small for a 'keeper as well, not the most vocal or commanding either. Good shot stopper, though.
