At least it makes it obvious certain people have been talking absolute delusional rubbish regarding Gills spending, but it be a superb signing.

Time to start editing those posts

Who's going to be editing posts? This signing would (if it happens) cost a few quid, but so far we've signed 3 free agents, 2 of which were released by other League Two sides, plus cleared out 4 or 5 who were on League One wages in the first place (O'Keefe, Reeves, Tutonda, Lee and MacDonald).

But as long as it gets the right people all worked up then I'm all for spending as much as possible.

Give it up mate, you’ve been outspending everyone since January and you are assembling a great side because of it, embrace it.

Stockport County.
The pressure on Harris will be enormous. He won't just be expected to win it. He'll be expected to win it in style. Can he handle it?

If he goes 1 down at our place and I'm the cameraman I'm doing close ups on Harris followed by close ups on evil Gallinson sat in the stand and back again.

I’m more than ready to embrace it.
If and when it happens.

The man needs a good start or he's in big trouble. Minimum 10 points clear at Christmas and I think he'll just about see the season out. But it'll be touch and go all the way.

Barrow, Alaska - it’s pretty much the same as Barrow-in-Furness but with polar bears instead of Staffies.
Isn't the airport named Dead Horse?

Not sure if that's in Furness or in Alaska.

Stroud in Oklahoma looks like a small red neck town in the middle of nowhere.

Dan Agyei has signed for us.

Got a good un there, look after him.

He's best down the middle, don't expect much production from out wide to be honest. Also, if you get awarded a penalty, you'll have time to go for a wee, get a pie and coffee, come back to your seat and still not see all his run up if he takes it.

Ia that one of the tribute Suttons? Sutton is of such great cultural import that there are dozens of places in England named after it.

Can Mansfield match that?

Yeah, but everywhere called Sutton gets its name as a minor settlement to the south of somewhere more important a bit further north.

A mirrors image of the one in England then
The people from Stroud in Gloucestershire would probably prefer to be called "green necks"!

To add a bit of balance, there is a suburb of Adelaide called Nailsworth and it looks pretty decent.

Danilo Orsi signs for Crawley for a fee.

A shame because most people liked him and he ended the season quite well, but the fact is he didn’t score enough goals for somebody who didn’t contribute a great deal round the pitch. Watch him score loads now.

Don't think we ever played him for a straight run of games in a system he suited. We saw flashes of brilliance from him so he's got something in his locker for sure, but Hursty never quite getting on board with him tells you there's something that didn't quite fit with us.

I'm hoping he's replaced with someone experienced and not a young loanee personally. Wilson and Pyke seem a bit too wildcardy for me.

Is he being replaced? You've got Rose, Clifton, Pyke, Wilson, Eisa, Vernam and Khan. Where is their space for another signing to come in?

I keep hearing these jokes, is it Dad's Army or something?

Clifton is a midfielder. Eisa, Vernam and Khan are wingers/wide forwards though so more relevant, but I'm talking about traditional central strikers. I think we'll be playing two of them at times so if we're going down the two players for every position route then I think we've got room for one more. I think Eisa is very much a punt with low expectations too, if he comes good then great but I suspect he'll be on a fairly low salary so no biggie if he's a flop.

Seriously, who doesn’t hear Wilson and Pike and instantly think of Dad’s Army?
Some people have an incredible ability to allow something unbelievably mainstream to pass them by, and I've never quite understood how. Same as people who've never seen an episode of Friends - almost impossible seeing as it's been on about 5 channels for the past 25 years, and I'm pretty confident you could find an episode at any time of day.

I've seen bits of episodes and starts of episodes, just not my bag so would have always switched over. I haven't watched actual UK TV channels for ages now, probably about 12/13 years.
