Evans is crap. Weak as piss. We may recall him to make up numbers but it's unfair really. When we get a few midfielders back in Feb he won't get a kick and we've fucked his season up.

Lewis could be good in a four though and with Pye's injury I would recall. If Clough hadn't ordered his team to do a hatchet man job on Pye, I'd have kept Lewis at Wimbledon for the season and looked again in the summer.

He is. He's been played in every position in our team he's nowhere near some of our other players who play in those positions. He's not bad techincally but he's powderpuff and you could see he couldn't handle the pressure of playing for us. I'm glad he's done well for you, I don't think we should recall him as it wouldn't be fair on him.

I would agree that he shouldn't be recalled. He's been one of our most influencial players and I'd gladly see us pay a fee for him and a much larger one for Lewis.

Evans is out of contract in the summer. I wouldn't completely rule out us recalling him, him playing a part in the January games and then when we're a few weeks closer to midfielders coming back or in through the window, we then let him go on a permanent deal to you for nothing or next to nothing on the last day of January. I think the rules say we couldn't loan him to you or anybody else again in the same season.

His best games for us he has played a bit deeper on the left with a winger/wide forward ahead of him so his role isn't just for goals and assists (although welcome if it happens), more to link the defence and attack which he does very tidily.
As I've mentioned before, Stockport's targets and squad depth/quality are higher than ours, so I could see why he doesn't get a look in at yours.
If he's available for free or peanuts I'd gladly take him, but Lewis is the one that will be much harder to replace.

I’m not as big a fan as some of our lot. Dreadful liability defensively, not much pace, can’t really beat a man but does pump in loads of crosses - which was a waste with us not having any sort of target man. Can’t argue with his assists I suppose but a decent fee and i‘d be a happy man.
