Stockport County.
Odin Bailey signs for us on a permanent deal. He's been excellent for us this season, talented player. Going off his past clubs he can blow hot and cold so hopefully he's found a consistency here that he keeps reaching and doesn't go off the boil now he's secured a deal.

Not sure exactly where Bailey plays for you, but I'm hoping this makes it less likely Conor Lemonheigh Evans is recalled?

We've signed Kyran Lofthouse from Barnsley on loan until the end of the season.

A surprising one that, I thought he was off to Grimsby?
No, the link to us was just a Twitter rumour that was rubbished by his agent.

We've signed Ryan Sandford. A keeper from Dartford. 24 years old. He was, briefly, with Wimbledon but I know nowt about him.

To be honest he doesn't have to be brilliant to get a game with us.

I would presume Fulham will be recalling Ashby-Hammond. If one of you get him he appears to be a decent keeper then goes walkabout or let's the ball roll over him.

And as we all know one fans opinions on a messageboard is shared by the entire fanbase.

Although tbf Elliot Lee would be one of the best players in League one.
FWIW Lee in our League 1 season was absolutely one of the best players in the league that season. Played as a number 10 and produced goals and assists. So he’s done it before.

Didn't get a lookin with us. Bass first choice with Tzanev as a reasonable backup.

Images from tonight suggest that Ronan Curtis entered the ground with the rest of our players. Could be absolute rubbish.

Why??? he's way past his best these days.
Took his goal against us well! We were interested in signing him when you did, wonder if we’d try again should Exeter not come off. Looks like Luke Norris still only on light training after his op.

Challinor being backed. First signing of many this month I'd imagine.

For somebody quite short, he's very well built/stocky so more than holds his own physically and he is rapid too - his goal at Accrington here is a good example of his pace:

He's got an excellent, powerful strike on him and positionally he is very good in and around the box so is in the right place for a few tap ins too - we tweeted all of his goals yesterday which show a bit of variety: https://x.com/ColU_Official/status/1744381919427547188?s=20

Over the past couple of months he's seemed to become visibly frustrated with the rest of the team as we've regressed from some early season promise. Initially we often had two up front and were creating plenty of chances but more recently, probably due to injuries more than anything, he's been playing on his own with less and less service so he's appeared to become quite fed up.

He's clearly shown he can more than cut it at this level though and I think he'd make the step up just fine. Noticed talk of him maybe going to Bolton too. And, as I write that, I see he was confirmed at Lincoln about an hour ago haha!
Thanks, we've generally played with one up front in recent years but with recalling Draper, I think we're going to switch to two up top now, or at least some of the time anyway.

We're now in a weird situation where we've added three attacking bodies in January - Moylan (from the League of Ireland who we agreed to sign in September), Draper (recalled from Walsall) and Taylor (loan from Luton) - who between them had 52 goal contributions in 2023, the exact same number as our entire squad in 2023  but all their spells have come at a lower level so I'm not sure whether to be wary, intrigued or excited at the potential!

Him and Draper could be a good pairing for you based on what I've seen

We've signed Ashby Hammond. Can't say he stood out either way playing against us. Happy we've signed a keeper though as the pair we have just haven't been good enough and keep making pretty basic errors.

If I could have picked one of them to stay it would have been Lewis, but still sad to see CLE going back. If he doesn't have a future with Stockport after this season, I'd be quite happy if we try to get him on a permanent in the summer. If we somehow get Ronan Curtis that would definitely soften the blow...
I'm also seeing rumours we are bringing in a striker on loan from a prem club....

180k for Lewis, good bit of money that. I hope he carries on doing well for Wimbledon.

Evans recalled, it's not completely out of the question he could go back to Wimbledon on a permanent at the end of the window if we bring a couple of intended targets in.

I'm not sure if he played against you. Maybe the fa cup match.

Honestly. You'll think he's a good keeper then he will make a stupid cock up. V Wimbledon he let a weak header roll over him while laying on the floor and one game he went to the left side of the box (box, not goal) while the attack came down the right! Attacker couldn't believe his luck.

Rumour is we were paying a fair wedge for the privilege of having him sit on our bench most of the time.

Played against us in both games this season. I didn’t see the cup game, but I thought he was shit in the league game.

4 keepers now and I don’t trust any of em.

We might as well just bite the bullet and play an outfield player in goal.

No longer an option sadly as he's the new Woking manager.

I love your recruitment team, but not when it comes to goalkeepers. I think that position is considered an afterthought.

With our injuries it makes sense for Lemonheigh Evans to come back.

We really need some Lemon aid

Apparently Harry Lewis is off to Carlisle.

Genuinely cannot understand that. I wouldn't begrudge him a move to a club stable in league one but it's highly likely he'll be back in this division again next season. Bizarre move.
