Taylor was decent enough, had him 2 or 3 spells eventually on a permanent, struggled in the promotion season and injuries didn't help but was probably man of the match in the play off final.

Its just those injuries that would be the concern.

Not completely convinced Rawson is good enough for a team looking at top three, if that’s the aim.

Odd about Tunnicliffe at Wrexham being injury prone.

He was pretty much ever present for us for two seasons and for Solihull Moors before that. Definitely and decent centre half as well.

If you do release him and Moors come up I reckon he may end up there as its pretty much his home town club.

Casey

Hayden and Tunnicliffe both went off injured in the FA Cup game vs Sheff Utd at home last season, and havent been the same since.

calf and hamstring injuries - so as soon as they go you will have persistent issues.

Tunnicliffe has had back problems, spasms and all sorts. Hope he gets a club in the league, well worthy of some first team football.

Matt Smith leaving Salford. Can imagine him being perfect for Solihull if they came up

Watt and Smith leaving Salford is interesting. Given they lost Touray and Bolton and haven't replaced them yet and now more of their best talent is on the way out, it does make you think the Class of 92 have gotten bored of this project and are scaling things back. But then they signed Karl Robinson and I can't believe he'd have taken the job without the promise of funds.

Being a Cheltenham lad, there's always hope that Smith will come to Cheltenham before he retires.

It'll never happen, but we can hope I suppose.

Smith is a total brute, a horrible big galoot, effective though and would definitley do one of the long ball sides a job.

An early rumor is Ryan Croasdale from Stockport. Someone posted it on one of our forums.

Pretty certain he'll be on our released list so perfectly believable.

Croasdale great for us in the NL and very good in L2. Think L1 will be a touch too much of a step up for him, particularly on the ball. He's a good all round midfielder though and a good at protecting defences. 100% every game type of player. All of our fans would wish him all the best.

Not sure he's someone that would set pulses racing towards a Bradford promotion push but hopefully you'd build a good team and squad around him. Solid signing if true.

Won't be short of L2 suitors. Was hoping we'd be in for him but I don't think we've ever gone toe to toe with you lot and won a player's signature.

I believe the Croasdale rumour being linked to us started at your end? Have you heard anything Stocky?

Based on that, I'm not sure he's what we need in midfield. What we're desperate for is a player who can dictate a game, dare I say Elliot Watt.

Not heard anything from our end about where he's going but most seem to think he will be on the released list. I presume we'll announce that list in the next day or two.

Funnily enough Watt is constantly linked with us and would possibly be our Croasdale replacement. We do need someone better on the ball in DM than Croasdale which Watt is but I think Watt lacks a bit of physicality for the role, not sold on him for us.

Watt was okay with us, got a lot of grief from a section of our fans; which I never quite got, like a younger version of Richie Smallwood, who most of our fans have never taken to. I don't think there were many fans unhappy to see him leave. However, he seems to have done well at Salford.

I never took to Watt, the great passer who after another pumped Hollywood pass into the stands you start to lose patience. Was offered every excuse under the sun by some when underperforming, the grass was too green, sky too blue and was never far away from a stupid booking because he couldn’t tackle.
Jumped ship as soon as he could chasing a L1 side and shock horror no one at the time took him and he ended up in front of the Dog and Duck crowd at Salford. No surprise his contract has expired and he’s off again be that the club or players choice.
Having said that, his role as the passer in the team is one we’ve never replaced and one that needs addressing by us this summer.

Not sure who they'd be interested in. Hopefully Ash Taylor!
Few of your players we might be interested, Chapman is obvious. Clarke Oduour, does he play much? I think he'd be great in the NL, Hendrie is a possibility although he's injured. Odusina seems a likely target but I know he got fucked over by the club on a contract and won't entertain coming back even though he's just the sort of CB we need.

Oduor has played over thirty times. Looked really good in certain games and bang average in others. Tbh, I completely forgot about Hendrie and Odusina; I think Timi has only played about four times for us in his two years here. Chapman would be excellent in the NL.

Chapman would be a cracking signing for you. If played in his best position out wide, he should tear up your league.

Too inconsistent here, but to be fair to him, he was asked to play as a number 10 too much to cover injuries to Jamie Walker.

Odusina and Hendrie the forgotten men here, Odusina has played less than half a dozen games in the 2 years he has been here, terrible signing.

You would be welcome to Odour, shown glimpses, but not good enough for a club who will be aiming for auto promotion next season,

We’ve massively under used (we being Alexander) Chapman this season. From a handful of sub appearances I reckon he’s had as many goal involvements as the regular starters, he’s better than Odour for one.

Always liked Chapman, defended him on our boards when he was played out of position last season as I felt he still did alright. His injury was very unlucky, he was showing his best form for us at the time, felt other than a couple of glimpses this season though he'd lost a certain something, which I suppose he can't be blamed when he's had a bad injury and little playing time.

He seems to have a difficulty with mentality though, before coming to us there was talk of he was too far away from home at Blackburn. So I think we can presume he is a homebird like Vernam, so hopefully he will show his best form for the pools. That said he has had a career in decline and that can be difficult to overcome, so I'm not as convinced as my colleagues that he'll be a success.
