Patrick Kelly confirmed so that’s our third highly rated loan player in. McCann also alluded to us already having Miller’s replacement in

So after signing Jordan Davies loads of our fans have been tweeting him wishing him all the best.
Unfortunately it’s this guy they’re tweeting and not the one we’ve just signed.

Harry Chapman signed for Barnet. If they can keep him fit and interested, he’ll be one hell of a signing for them.

On his day, he’s a L1/top L2 player, without question.

Agree. If he keeps fit and they play him on the wing, too good for non league. He should tear up that league

Our business looks to be done :-
Cameron Congreve - loan from Swansea (Mid)
Danny Imray - loan from Crystal Palace (Wing back)
Kamarl Grant - loan from Millwall (Def)
Taylor Foran - from Arsenal (Def)
Marcus Dinanga - from Gateshead (Forward)
Sam Long - from Lincoln (Keeper)
Lewis Leigh - from Preston NE (Mid)
Omar Sowunmi- from Sutton (Def)

Many know us already or have worked with Andy Woodman before, so integrating into our squad / system shouldn’t take too long and hopefully we’ll make a solid start to life in Division 2. Not being bankrolled, so sustainable, affordable progress is needed, hence the ‘old’ 4G pitch relocated alongside our stadium for continued community use and income stream. Looking forward to having winter games called off again and the ensuing fixture congestion we’ve been missing so much

Ignore Firthy, the only place George seems to have done badly at is Bradford, says more about them than him. He will miss blatant sitters then score a worldie, better played off the shoulder of the last man, shame to see him leave but was never going to fit into how McCann sets us up to play, good luck to him

Rumours on social media that we're about to sign midfielder Liam Walsh. Like so many of our squad, he comes with the "if he can stay fit" caveat, which judging by the fact he's only appeared in 97 games at 26 years old says he can't.

Noticed your first ever game in the EFL is going to be Harrogate away. That's a crime from whoever draws up the fixture list.

I'm pretty sure we were interested earlier in the summer, no idea if we still are. I think we're about to sign a midfielder on loan from Man Citeh but not sure who.

EDIT: I'm fairly sure the Liam Walsh stuff is just speculation. Think one of those random transfer accounts on Twitter started it, think we moved on from him.

Harry Chapman goes to non league on the same day George Miller stays in L2, some questionable scouting going on there.

Cheltenham fans… We supposedly have left back Ben Williams training with us.

Any thoughts?

We're desperately in need of cover in that position as all of our options are out injured.

One of the triallists who has been with us Kyle John (a rightback formerly of Everton) now signed on a one year deal. Mitch Clark fracturing a bone in his neck has probably exacerbated the need for this signing as otherwise only left with Tom Sang there and it's not really his natural position.

Worth a go, never played men’s football but been around Everton’s first team, one year deal about right with a clause no doubt and gives us an option with Mitch likely out for months.

The lad who first posted it is a named account who posts other Swansea based rumours it seems. So he might be in the know about players who've left them. Would be a bit of strange one given his massive list of injury issues.

Pleased with Max Conway, looks like a lively attack minded left full back who can also play wing back. Should give Bell greater flexibility to change his formations as and when needed.

So the pre match press conference has spoiled that we’ve signed Aaron Nemane from Notts County, with Conor Grant I believe going the other way

I’d be sad to lose Nemane, although I think he was another big part of our horrendous defensive record. He’s one where I’m not sure of his best position, not really good enough defensively as a wing back, but his final ball isn’t good enough and he doesn’t create/score enough as a genuine winger. Would suggest we see the new lad from Crawley as first choice at RWB.

Overall a reasonable L2 player. Know nothing about Grant to say who it’d be a good swap for.

We've signed Bolton left back Max Conway on loan
Evatt said lots of offers had come in for him the past few weeks from L2, probably our best prospect along with Nelson Khumbeni. Conway's played a lot of the pre season against good teams, was very impressive against Fiorentina a week or so ago

He’s more of a 10 is Grant. Never really shown too much here so one we aren’t sad about losing. Not sure how he got on at Barnsley last season on loan but clearly not good enough if he’s back in L2.

He's a good left back, but he's made of glass. Also a walking red card at times as well.

Got a cracking cross on him at times.

I loved him.

Blimey, didn't see that coming. Nemane is a good winger who added goals to his game last season. Fast, skilful and doesn't bottle out of challenges as small wingers sometimes do. All the best to him, sorry to see him go.

What's Conor Grant like?

We're collecting number 10s. Bit short of number 9s and number 1s but we do love a roaming 10.
