I assume this is a good signing for us?
Young and raw, but from what I've seen of him - He has potential to be a decent lower leagues player at least.

If he does leave, the fee will be good for Dagenhams rebuilding job for next year.

Genuinely angry at how badly Dagenham have used him this season.

Unfortunately another Burnett fuck up. He started the season excellently, then Burnett wheeled out the 'protecting him' line and he lost all confidence/momentum. Still has been right not to put him in of late as he's been poor whenever he's cameoed.

But yep, Coventry have a very good future prospect there.

We've just signed Martin Smith on loan from Sunderland for the rest of the season. He's on the bench today.

Wycombe have signed 24 year old Keeper Ben Siegrist on loan until the end of the season,he'll be back up if Alsopp gets injured as we don't want our 46 year old goalkeeping coach to have to play again.

Curle has confirmed we've offered Dutch winger Luis Pedro a short-term deal.

We were going to sign Jamahl Campbell Ryce on loan from Sheffield Utd but yet again fucking Chesterfield hijacked the deal from us and took him on loan instead at the last minute, arseholes.

A Dutchman with a Spanish/Portuguese name... He's not related to Riccardo Moniz is he?

Thought Smith looked good when he came on yesterday, battled hard for the ball.

A reliable poster on our forum reckons we've agreed to sign Russell Penn from York at the end of the season when he's out of contract. What's he like, York fans?

4 goals in 2 bounce games (Barrow and Burnley) for our trialist Luis Pedro.

He's going to fire us to promotion.

Hopefully international clearance comes through in time for Friday. Sounded like another great goal today, a tricky left winger is exactly what we've needed all season. If we'd had one I'm sure we'd be in the play-off spots by now.

Moved out some deadwood with Pritchard off to Stevenage and Essam back to Dover.
Pritchard I hope has a recall clause as we may well need him come the end of the season!

Essam is definently for the best, Conference/lower League Two is about his level. He did ok to begin with, but his lack of pace and technical ability eventually caught up with him, teams started targeting him - The Cambridge home game was the final straw.

Hard to see how Pritchard is going to help Stevenage stay up. Maybe they don't have enough headless chickens?

His second goal against Burnley was an absolute peach. If he can keep that up he won't be with us for long.

See how he performs in a real match and if he's just as good then it's just what we've needed.

Our chief scout Lee Dykes is creaming himself at Louis Pedro in today's paper. Would love for him to be signed in time for Yeovil, sounds like he could be a real find.

"He's certainly ready to do a job, but I would say he's not as sharp as he can be, or as fit as he can be, and that's probably a little bit scary in terms of what we've seen in the short term."

There's still time for some other club to snatch him from right under our noses, but I can't see that happening as he is on trial with us and has never played in England before so it would not make any sense for someone else to nab him without seeing him play.

He seems to have a great shot on him, that last goal in the reserve game gets better every time I watch it. He could hit that against any League 2 keeper and it would go in. (skip to 1:50 on the video)

Fuck! This was just put up on one of our forums about Pedro:

"HAVING BEEN AT THE GAME YESTERDAY AT GAWTHORPE [AND WHAT A GREAT TRAINING CENTRE THATS GOING TO BE ] WE SHOULD GET THIS LADS SIGNITURE ON THE FORMS TODAY.

CURLE IS FULLY AWARE THAT THERE WERE REPRESENTATIVES FROM OTHER CLUBS PRESENT [AND THAT PEDRO WAS THE ONLY UNATTACHED PLAYER INVOLVED OTHER THAN A YOUTH KEEPER BURNLEY WERE LOOKING AT OFFERING SCHOLORSHIP TERMS TO ]

SO IF THIS DOESNT HAPPEN TODAY I WOULD SAY SOMEONE ELSE HAS JUMPED QUICKER OR HIGHER THAN US AND WEVE MISSED OUT.

WHICH WOULD BE A GREAT SHAME AS HE IS ONE HELL OF A PROSPECT YES THERE MUST BE A FLAW LIKE WHY HAS HE SUDDENLY BEEN RELEASED FROM HIS RUMANIAN CLUB HALFWAY THRU THE SEASON HAVING PLAYED IN OVER 80% OF THEIR GAMES IN THE FIRST HALF OF THE SEASON.

BUT YOU WOULD IMAGINE DYKES HAS DONE HIS HOMEWORK AND IS SATISFIED THAT THERE ISNT A MAJOR PROBLEM THERE SO I WOULD HOPE IT ISNT A TILL THE END OF SEASON PISS ABOUT BECAUSE BELIEVE ME IF WE DONT SIGN THIS LAD SOMEONE HIGHER UP THE LADDER WILL."

If someone higher up signs him I might just cut all cords with football.

Better than a new signing, deep joy across the U's as Harrison Dunk has signed a new 2 year contract with no release clause.

Massive returns on invested Man Ure money now being put to good use? :hypo:
