Stanley Aborah. The best player at the club. Has been told he can leave....couldn't make it up.

He'll sign for some random Belgian club I imagine.

Based on his performance at your place earlier in the season I'd take him here in a heartbeat.

We continue our spree of rewarding players with new contracts. Sam Hoskins who has done well has signed a new two and a half year deal. He has done well when called upon but has mainly been a squad player.

Everyone bar Lelan contracted until summer 2017. This team can do things in League 1 I'm absolutely sure.

Bring in a top centre back and I'd certainly agree...

Yeah that's one are we need to strengthen and perhaps also in the middle of the park. Positive we will though. Top centre half and I think we will be pushing for the playoffs.

Jake Gosling to Newport on a one month loan. Good player on his day, but couldn't get a place on the bench lately.

Pat Hoban signs on loan for us until the end of the season. Any views Oxford fans?

Hope that he's as good as our current Irish forward.

http://www.grimsby-townfc.co.uk/news/article/irish-frontman-joins-town-2981684.aspx

Holds the ball up well, puts a shift in and hasn't done horrifically in front of goal this season. Not the most ruthless finisher in the world though. Isn't the quickest or tallest either, and when I say that I mean he is slowwww.

Really hope he does well for you anyway. It won't be through lack of trying if he doesn't. And I hope you come up rather than one of the financially inflated clubs like Forest Green or Eastleigh.

Hartlepool have signed centre back Rob Jones after his release from Doncaster.

Looks a good signing that.

Wycombe have signed 6' 3'' striker Rowan Liburd on loan from Reading,at last someone who can fucking score! Ainsworth has seen him play several times at Adams Park as Reading's reserves play there and has scored almost every time Ainsworth was watching him.

Not a transfer but we've signed James Pearson (Thai sex freak) onto an extended contract for a year with an option for another, which is absolutely fantastic news as he's Ben nothing but superb for us since joining.

We were about to sign Chris Eagles on loan but he's picked up an ankle injury so the move is off.

Ryan Ledson confirmed with U's for another month. I'm sure the paperwork is sorted.

Mark Tyler gone to Posh as player/coach, confirmed by our manager after today's game.

Been a genuinely fantastic servant so gutted to see him go, but it was always going to happen so best to start planning for our future now.

Not mentioned on this thread yet, but Jonathan Mitchell was signed before yesterday's game, on loan from Derby for the rest of the season.
He was absolutely immense when called upon. He's already better than Justham and looks like someone with massive potential. I'm excited about this guy.
For someone who was playing his first professional league game he looked like he'd been there for over 100 games!

Interesting to see what we do with Leroy Lita. Didn't come off the bench yesterday but might just be a bit rusty. Could be a good second half impact player.

In addition to Ledson extending his loan (awaiting news on Furlong, whose been excellent(ish) for the last couple of games), we had Zeli Ismail (from Wolves for the season) on the bench yesterday. When he came on, he looked like the proper right winger we've been needing.

We've signed Swansea striker Oliver McBurnie on loan to the end of the season.

He played well against us for Chester last season and I know he had a loan spell at Newport earlier this season where he scored 3 in 3. What do you think Newport fans, have we got a good player on our hands?

Glad we've played you twice already, because those 3 goals all came v Luton in 1 half, on his FL debut!

I would definitely have liked us to have kept him for longer, was a shame Swansea decided to recall him. He looks a good prospect to me. If he can avoid scoring on the 19th though please ;)

Would of been a great signing for us, especially at this level.

Mark Tyler to Peterborough confirmed now. Gutted about this. It was likely to be his last season anyway and his replacement had a really impressive debut, but I'm sad to see him go. Joined us at our lowest ebb and stuck with us through a really bad period. Would have been nice for him to have one last game with us knowing he was off so we could say goodbye properly.

There's only one Mark Tyler.

We have signed Lewis Alessandra on loan. Looks decent but a striker probably isn't what we really need.

If thats the ex Plymouth player thats a good signing. Has he been injured or just not good enough for league 1?

That could turn out to be a cracking signing, surprised he didn't have interest elsewhere but I guess he wanted to stay in the north still.
