We've signed Dean Morgan. Last seen at Woking and who loaned him to Crawley. He also seems to have had a longish spell at Wycombe. He's no Matt Tubbs by the look of it, but he is an international with ... errr ... Montserrat.

How has Ben Davies been getting on for you?

He's a prospect. Strong, decent distribution and very keen. It doesn't look like we'll be extending his loan, but people have generally been impressed with him.

Good to hear, some of our fans were surprised when he was given a contract extension the other month but I think he's got something about him. Shame his loan won't be extended.

I've never rated Harrison. He was average at best for us.

Looks like we've signed Ryan Haynes on loan from Coventry City. Possible in the squad for tomorrow's game at Stevenage.

We're re-signing Colin Daniel on Monday from Port Vale.

Good addition & brings a bit of quality out on the wings or in midfield. Just in time for Bristol Rovers away too...

He is a very good player at this level.
In fact, he played very well for us in League One.
Works his plums off too.

Yeah we had him a couple of years back, very good cover for Richards.

Confirmed, John Marquis signed on loan until the end of the season. He was class in his previous loan spell with us. Good replacement for while Richards is injured.

He was a bit unlucky with us, forced out wide and deployed as an attacking midfielder rather than a striker by Hendon. He missed a few chances to score for us as well in some big games against Portsmouth and Plymouth, but set a few goals up.

Got sent off needlessly against Wimbledon for two yellow cards and Hendon seemed to lose faith in starting him after that.

Rod Mcdonald has just signed a new deal until summer of 2018. Delighted with this. Started the season awfully, was signed from Telford so clearly taken a while to adjust. Since getting in the side again in November has been fantastic.

Colin Daniel been made official just now. Decent signing I think, Nothing special but he offers something different on the wing.

Daniel to Mansfield, that will be his Vale career over, odd signing when he did sign him and not consistent or intelligent enough to be a League One regular, had some decent cameo's (usually off the bench) his last gasp winner at home to Gillingham will probably be the best memory we have of him. Similar to Ben Williamson I guess it that i wish him all the best just wasn't quite good enough.

Personally think it's a great signing. Blair and Daniel on the wings, Green up top with Baxendale in the hole and Clements and Chapman in support roles. Decent team that is in my opinion.

The return of Sir Colin of Mansfield. An honourable gentleman, just in the nick of time for the game against the Sags as well. Cunning ploy.
