Hmm. Where do you think your whole playing budget sat this season in the league? Got to be in the top 7-8 with the crowds and infrastructure you have surely?
Not sure, many of our players had no league experience and pretty much top end conference wages.
we now have a great bunch of lads who will fight to the death.
players like Easter, Lines and Lawrence may push the wage up a notch but for us im sure its as low as its been in a decade

Sheffield United, Coventry for definate not sure on the other but would guess Millwall.

Coventry only spent £2.5 million this season. My guess would be Wigan, Millwall, Sheffield United and strangely Peterborough. I say this purely because they've spent some big sums of money on players since they've been down here. Seem to remember them going crazy in their first two years and buying lower league gems for £500K a pop!

Confirmed that a left footed centre back will join this week from a league 2 team after getting back from his holiday.

Two names being banded about at the moment, with Mathieu Baudry from Orient and Ryan Taffazoli from Mansfield looking the most likely condidates.

Taffazoli would make sense in the fact that he's the right age for a Posh signing and we're not a million miles from Mansfield.

Baudry's name is in the frame as we were very close to signing him last year.

Can fans from either teams confirm whether either are left footed?

Just read that Crawley have signed Jason Banton on a years contract with an option for another :fl: Fucking hell he's only 23 and including loans Crawley will be his 13th club which tells you a lot about his attitude - it stinks and he thinks he's a decent player so he's deluded as well.

Our released list is slowly filtering out today, first player out the door is Jon Paul Pittman.

Always injured and not particularly good either, no surprise on that. I'd expect to learn about 5-6 more by the time the day is out.

Aye Taff is a left foot player. He's looking to move closer to home so it would seem the right move to go to Posh.

Fair play to Taffazoli if he goes to Peterborough, great move for him. Think he'll do well in League 1, even if it takes him time to adjust.

Agreed. Would be a great move for him.

P'boro would be getting a cracking centre back as well.

Ok, thats one piece of the jigsaw in place.

To finish the puzzle, is he on holiday at the moment?

Drummy coached him as a 17 year old. Maybe he thinks he can get the best out of him. Maybe as he's only signed for a year he's not that confident!

Hopefully this comes off. He'd be an excellent addition.

What a signing he would be to start the summer off. Other players would surely be more attracted if we're making it obvious that we're going for promotion.

Bit of premature load blowing though. He's only following our club on Twitter. I'll believe it when I see it.

He's following us, Kennedy is following him. Curle said today that one of the two incoming signings was recently promoted. All seems to fit too well.

I think Kennedy followed him prior to today.

Jon Nolan on his way to Chesterfield.

What a bitter bitter blow that is.

Ffs, bad move all round that, imo. Was superb for us since he signed, but that was arguably the best period of his career so far. Definitely talented, but he's stepping up to League One too quickly. He was the one CM in our squad I wanted to keep.

Callum Bastock and Danny East released too. Can see East getting a Conference club. Looked alright in the early parts of the season, but has hardly figured since Tait came in. Bastock is apparently taking a year out. Have no idea if he's any good.

I'd be pretty chuffed if we signed Adams, I'll wait until anything is confirmed til I get too excited.

Christ almighty.

Dreadfully honest that we needed a top drawer first team central midfielder. We've signed Henderson who couldn't get in the team BEFORE he signed and fucking Jon Nolan. Who is not only no better than what we have but by all means a knobhead.

Fantastic.

Remember watching your play off semi final 2nd leg last season and Banton caused all sorts of problems when he played for Plymouth, seems to have talent so it's a shame he's a waster.
