Injury prone and high wages probably rules us out, although we did gamble on McLeod.

We let MacDonald go because of his injury troubles last season, so unless we are getting him on the cheap, I'd be surprised if we went for him. Our model under Allen tends to be, small squad but better quality, so you can't really sign players that have injury doubts from the outset

We have signed Alfie Potter on a 2 year deal. Played under Wilder at Oxford previously so no massive shock. Similar to Holmes and D'ath I guess in style of play. Wombles and Oxford fans, what he list towards the end of his time with you? Has he recovered his form after his injury?

Alfie Potter on a two year deal. Happy with this, he's not on much money and will provide good competition for D'Ath and Holmes

Luton sign Jack Marriott on a one year deal. Delighted for him, and I know he's buzzing

Potter lightweight with no end product. Not recovered his form. So annoying when he creates room for a cross and then steps back to try and beat the man for the third time. We chose not to sign him as was felt did not contribute enough. Overall if we had kept him as a squad player could have been a useful impact sub but as a starter no thanks.

I'd be surprised if Ogogo signed for Luton. Probably should be higher in the leagues. He sees himself as a CM but he is a much better RB in truth. As a RB he's easily one of the best in the league but as a CM he doesn't really stand out.

Still, he's a good player to have wherever he plays and is very versatile. I think he'd be a good player for any team in this league.

Rakish Bingham signs for pools after being released from Mansfield - Really happy with that.

Hopefully 6/7 more to come!

For me, Bingham was the only one who tried to play football in the Mansfield team that came up to the vic!

Both good signings IMO. Bingham's a decent player and Raynes will likely be used sparingly as backup for us but will do a job there.

I recall Marriott looking fairly decent when we played Woking in the conference, on paper perhaps not hit the heights in subsequent spells on loan but like the sound of the quick and aggressive description Still gives him.

We've signed two players but aren't releasing their names yet as they are still under contract at their clubs. So presumably they have been offered a new deal but aren't going to accept it.
I wouldn't be surprised if Stuart Nelson was one of them.
Allen has had him at a few clubs.
He still has a year left on his contract but has been told he can look for another club.
A very good goalkeeper, although Notts County fans will disagree.
Has been absolute class for us.

It won't be a transfer listed player, why would we hold back in announcing the name of him if that was the case? It'll probably be two conference players offered deals at their current clubs that they aren't going to accept.

Hopefully it's Magnay of Grimsby and someone like Marc Roberts at Halifax

Rumours round here that we're close to signing Accrington Stanley captain Luke Joyce.

He was with us as a youngster but didn't really break into the team so we let him go. He's impressed me when I've seen him since, bossed the midfield at their place in April, although that wasn't exactly difficult with the way our players performed that day!

We were lucky to stay up so I can't say that I am too disappointed at losing anyone so far. A few might have stayed and made useful squad players but that was it. We will be very active this summer, and rebuilding a squad from scratch will be a huge test given Murray's inexperience.

I think you'll be surprised on that. At least 4 figures a week I'd say.

Wilder was talking about the fantastic financial deal we've got with this signing and others have said he's really on not a lot

We've pretty much signed Kyle Bennett from Doncaster, almost a done deal and also are looking at Enda Stevens aswell.

Raynes - Shouts and claps his hands a lot but was just an average league 2 from what I saw.

I'm guessing/hoping that he'll just be backup. Think we'll be playing 3-5-2 a lot so we'll need a couple of spare centre backs.

He's Quick but he's got a lot of work to do and best of luck to him... would never of been our main striker with who were after.

We've signed Luke Joyce from Accrington Stanley.

Impressed with this signing.
Great to see Curle starting his business early, and bringing in players with a lot of League 2 experience.

If we play 3-5-2 I can see Raynes being the big cart horse in the middle who heads everything, then 2 footballers either side of him (hopefully David Atkinson) and 1 other possibly CMW if he can prove Curle wrong.
